Very smooth processed

Generally, the job initially went well. I was satisfied with the work done. Some time after the job was completed, the paint on the caulk around the vinyl window frames began to peel. The owner of the company had the paint removed, primed, and repainted, at no additional cost to me. A year after the job was completed, the paint around the vinyl window frames again began to peel. The owner of the company had the caulk removed, recauked (with paintable caulk), and repainted, again at no additional cost to me. Though I was disappointed that part of the job had to be redone, I was very favorably impressed that the owner stood behind his company's work.

The Mark Danis team recently repainted the exterior of our home in Summerland, which is a shingle-sided dwelling. We were anxious about selecting a painter as this is a large and expensive project that needed not only the right product, but the care and expertise necessary for a long term positive outcome. I was initially impressed with Mark?s knowledge of the kind of paints versus stains and the reasons he suggested the product we chose due to the exposure to the frequent marine layer and it?s possible mold implications. Mark?s team was amazing. They were friendly, courteous, energetic and thorough. We needed a carpenter to repair a section of railing and that was handled. They sanded and taped EVERYTHING! The prep work was extensive and they moved through it so quickly. The windows and surrounding areas do not have drips or spills anywhere. They cleaned up every day and left the property tidy. The project included the 2 story house, lots of railings, a gazebo and a spa area. There were 4 colors of stains and paints used. They consulted us on every point and repainted the garage door to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Mark and his team. We will hope that when we need to paint again, that Mark is available.

We couldn't be happier with the paint job. End cost was on par with the estimate, with only a token amount added for termite treatment with our approval. Mark Danis and his team were very professional throughout, and the process went quickly and very smoothly. The project manager, Taylor, was very courteous and consulted with us daily about various repairs and kept us well informed about what to expect each day. The team members were very professional and detail oriented, even repairing flaws in the stucco and eaves that had been painted over in the past. They did a great job cleaning up after the job as well, including paint flakes and such. We appreciate the professional quality of the work, and the great communication with the project manager made the entire process go smoothly and stress free. Quoted price that was lower than the mount he billed me. We did work it out but probably would not use him again because of the problem. Quality of work was good.

Danis Painting is very professional and the job went smoothly. I would highly recommend him for his work. I made a phone call on a Wednesday and he came the same day for the estimate. Mark was able to start the work two days later very prompt service. The work is very good and they did a remarkable job. Danis Painting patched the ceiling for us and it was included in the price of the job.

From beginning to end Mark Danis did a totally professional job. His quote was competitive. He arrived on time and his crew were extremely pleasant and hard working. Mark Danis, the owner, consulted with me on color, paint and work required in order to provide an estimate for the job. He offered an hourly cost or a price for the job. He bought the paint that we discussed and provided samples of colors the day before the actual painting began to insure that the colors were the one that I wanted. He also made recommendations on the paint for the ceilings and provided a rationale for each. He brought a team of three painters for the job. The team was personable and professional and explained what was being done. Each day they reviewed what would be undertaken and accomplished. They moved and covered the furniture and each day moved it back so that the rooms were functional. I had a guest coming and they arranged the job to have the guest room completed in time. Mark had a team leader who was easy to reach with questions and with special requests. The team responded to suggestions or provided options if I had questions. They were unobtrusive, which was important given that I worked at home part of the time. Each night they cleaned up and prepared for the next day. They arrived promptly and completed the work in a timely manner. When I had plumbing done, I found that the walls behind the toilets needed to be done and I contacted the team leader, Christian, who came over and repaired that wall where the toilets had been. He also changed the lighting fixtures and repaired the walls where the old ones had been to insure that they were smooth. The paint job and repair work were well-done. At each phase of the project, Mark or his team leader checked the plans and progress, guiding the painting team in what we had negotiated. Once, I accidentally smudged a door and Christian returned to repaint it to insure that it was smooth once again. The team had a great sense of professionalism and responsibility that I greatly appreciated and a concern for my needs while they were working.

I have used Mark Danis and Christian Wallace for several jobs, large and small, and we decided to go with their bid based their price and our experience with their past work. From beginning to finish, this company has been especially responsive and accommodating. Every time I asked for a modification on something in the scope of the project or outside it, they reacted with professionalism and respect. We changed our minds on the paint color, trim, deck railing stain, exterior door opening size, vents, and access panels. There was some miscommunication about something we believed was included in the original bid, and they gave us the benefit of the doubt and did that work also. There were no sighs, shaking heads, or hemming and hawing, but always, "We'll take care of it.", or "No worries. We just want you to be happy with every aspect of the job". And we are. There were a lot of workers, all of whom were very polite, amiable, and professional (they know their stuff!). Every day they worked quickly, explained anything we needed to know, kept in communication with Mark and the job foreman, cleaned up the job site, and restored full functionality and appearance (as much as could be with ladders and equipment needing to be there) to the home. There's a lot more I could say, but what I basically want you to know is that they aim to please and they deliver the goods. I highly recommend them for any of your painting or construction needs, large or small.

Christian was very prompt to respond to my requests, was totally qualified, quoted the exact amount that was on the final bill. The workers showed up exactly on time, clean, polite, well dressed. The job was also well done, no mess, great paint job and cleanup. A prospective buyer had come while I was away, and commented to me later on how nice a job they were doing on the paint, and how accommodating they were. I am using this company again now for some carpentry work in another home.
