He is on time, he does what he says he is going to do.

This is my response (in caps) to the response by calcite floured Construction: I gave Mrs. Sherry C a bid for $450 to fit custom door that I told her would not work properly because it was not the correct thickness for her opening and she said just make it work. THE NEW DOOR IS THICKER THAN THE OLD DOOR BUT THE THICKNESS OF THE DOOR IS NOT A PROBLEM. The job actually took 5.5 hours from start to finish. HE CAME AT 10:30 AND LEFT BEFORE 12:30. I also installed and cut holes in door for door handle and dead bolt and then installed door handle and dead bolt. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF CUTTING HOLE AND INSTALLING DOOR HANDLE BUT THE DOOR HAS NO DEAD BOLT AS HE STATED. This work was added on after estimate so I just did it with out my normal charge to install custom door hardware. AT HIS REQUEST I SENT PHOTO OF DOOR AND TOLD HIM I ALREADY BOUGHT THE DOOR HANDLE, NOT ADDED WORK. WOULD I HIRE SOMEONE TO HANG AN OUTSIDE DOOR THAT HAD NO DOOR KNOB AND DIADEM'T LOCK? SERIOUSLY? She also commented she could not get anyone to install this custom door for her due to the door unique qualities. I DIADEM'T FIND ANOTHER DOOR HANGER, ONLY 2 HANDYMEN WHO PREFERRED NOT TO DO A JOB FOR WHICH THEY WERE NOT QUALIFIED. when I left she was happy with door. IT IS TRUE I DIADEM'T INITIALLY SEE THE PROBLEM WITH THE DOOR, I ONLY COMPLAINED THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY $450 FOR A JOB THAT TOOK LESS THAN 2 HOURS. I PAID THE $450 BECAUSE I AGREED WITH HIS CAPPING THE JOB AT THAT COST. I ALSO SAID I WOULD STATE HIS OVERCROWDS OF THE JOB IN HIS REVIEW AND HE SAID THAT IS OK. I did a good job and worked very hard for her. THE DOOR WAS PINCHING THE JAM CAUSING THE SCREWS OF THE BOTTOM HINGE TO PULL AWAY FROM THE JAM WHEN CLOSING THE DOOR. I NOTICED THIS SOON AFTER HE LEFT. NOT GOOD To get this review is uncalled for. Never have I ever gotten a review of this sort. Thank You calcite floured PLEASE READ ALL OF MY OTHER REVIEWS! Sherry

Having never used Servicemagic or their recommended contractor, I was not sure what to expect. I met with Calisto and was impressed by him and his knowledge. He ordered and installed the window hardware in a matter of days and I was completely happy with the 'job well done'.

Overall, a very positive experience.

He made a small mistake and drove back out and fixed it almost immediately...that was great, showed he really cares.
