The Termite Guy

The representative, Guy DeBeauvieres, came to my home to provide a quote. Once he finished he gave me the quote and I mentioned a Big Deal from Angie's List offering $500 towards pest treatment and he refused to honor this. He was very rude in how he spoke, it was unprofessional. According to Guy, the job would have to be $2000 or $3000 to qualify for the $500 credit, the deal says nothing about this.

Excellent, was easy, quick, and effective.

I called the company based on their special on Angie's list. I spoke with their expert who was very knowledgable and actually said that she thought we didn't need pest control at this time. She answered a lot of questions and I was impressed. Thank you.

Purchased a coupon for $99 for $500 worth of Termite Preventative Services. The gentleman came out to look at our home and the project. He was very professional initially, however, I received an estimate that the job was now going to cost me $5,000. I was shocked and decided not to use this company.

He arrived on time surged the job completed it and gave me usefull information.

Two years ago we called a company advertising on the radio to treat some termites because we saw the little pepper specs around the window. They did but there were mini blinds up and so there were screw holes where these were. Recently due to a water leak the blinds had to come down and we began seeing the termite pepper stuff again. Believing it was a reoccurrence of the old problem we called on the Angies List Big Deal. As it turns out, what we were seeing was old stuff from before coming down through the holes left by the blinds and no active infestation was found. We were given great suggestions on how to d other repairs so that this is not an ongoing problem.

It went very well. They were on time and kept to themselves. They explained the work being done and cleaned up nicely.

The Termite Guy company came out and did a thorough inspection and told me that we have drywood and subterranean termites and recommend spray treatment in the crawlspace for the subterranean termites and fumigation for the entire house for the drywood termites......My house is a 1957 ranch style with 1377 square feet.....The quote for the work after the $500 off offer came to $1995....The quote sounded pretty reasonable but I thought I better get a couple more quotes.I realized that many companies give FREE inspections and I called a couple more. The other two companies said we only have drywood termites and they recommended fumigation. I went with another company that charged $1500 for fumigation as 2 out of 3 companies said I do not have subterranean termites. I feel that The Termite Guy was too expensive because they charged $2495 for tenting and spraying. The offer I bought was $500 off coming to a total of $1995 for tenting and spraying.That's what they said they would charge me. I felt they jacked the beginning price to $2495 because of the $500 off offer. So the end result was approximately the same as other quotes I got from companies that didn't offer the $500 off. So I went with another company. I spent $99 on "The Big Deal" for nothing.

The experience was fine overall. They were very professional and helpful on the phone. During the installation, however, they had to disconnect our cable service in order to place the tint on our home and they didn't re-connect it properly. I needed to call the service guy from the cable company to have this fixed and was charged a service call fee. When I called the Termite Guy about this, they told me they'd refund that charge, but I haven't looked for that refund yet. Also, there was a vent on my water heater with a rain cap, and once the work was done, the gas company came out to turn my gas back on, they wouldn't do it, since it wasn't venting properly. However, I was able to take care of this on my own.

The experience was very good overall. They seemed thorough. We haven't decided on what we're going to do with the results, but they've been diligent with following up to make sure we understood the results and provided us with options.

They didn't show up twice when we scheduled an appointment; without any notice or calls. His quote was a little high, even with the discount, so we went with another company that was able to do the work at a much lower cost. I feel like the coupon that we purchased from Angie's List had no value. Also, he couldn't offer a long-term service plan like the other company.

They did a good job but the pricing did not seem like much of a deal as they quoted me a much higher price which ended up being almost the same price I would have paid for the work itself without the deal. They were very professional and showed up on time.

They were great overall! He did a thorough job and very honest; he didn't try to sell me a long-term contract, since in my situation, he told me it'd be less expensive to not sign the contract. I plan on calling them next year!

Dan was punctual and very professional, but I went with another company whose estimate was less expensive and seemed to be more thorough.

My overall experience with them is a D because the quality of their service is not that good. They charge me with so many things without carrying out the deal I had with the salesman. I'll also say that they are very unprofessional since they are not honest with their costumers.

Freddy showed up to do the work. A very delightful guy. Got right to it and explained what he had done and where. I felt confident with him

There was nothing dramatic about this job. It was a remove and replace operation, so we didn't get any enhanced value ! The work was done well, and the final result was exactly what was needed. We also had them replace some trim on other areas of the house. All of the work was done well, and painted. The end result is a clean look, and no more dry rot or pesky termites. Some of the work required cutting in to match the previous construction. It was all done with precision and looks exactly as it should. This company has done work for some of my clients in the past and everyone has received a good job at a reasonable price.

They found some termites and didn't have to tint the house. I was happy with the work they did. I will use them again. There were some problems with punctually.

They had a special, they were going to give you $500 of free service but there was a trick to it. The trick is, that they ran in there and they found one set of termite rings and came down with an $1800 dollar estimate and of course you get 500 dollars of that. So, I wasn't too impressed with that. The estimate he gave me was ridiculous. I asked him how long it would take him to do the work and he said that it would take about take him 2 hours. Two hours for a technician to spray for $1800 sounds kind of like a little bit much.

Well this is my wife's family home, that her parents purchased in 1960, when her mother passed away in nov of 2011, we moved out here from the mid-west. We called the termite guy to do a inspection, and the rest is history. Everyone at The Termite Guy has done a great job, Thanks for great service.

I called to schedule the free inspection and was asked about a coupon code. When I explained that I was collecting estimates and if they "won" the business, I planned to purchase the $500 of service for $99 coupon. The company said they wouldn't provide the estimate without the purchase of the coupon. As a savvy business, they could have easily written the estimate with the coupon usage in mind providing great customer service. Instead, they walked away from my account.

Very smooth, they did what they said they would do at a great price. Scott provided a solid quote then Nikki and the team did a great job executing. I had them do preventative bug care then a full house tenting a couple of months later.

My experience went very well. The technician was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was definitely satisfied with his service.

They sprayed kitchen and washer area for cockroaches behind stove and refrigerator and under sink area. Also around baseboards and put out bait traps.

Termites were swarming my home so I called Jeff Hiatt advertised on the radio. A $4,500 Orange Oil treatment was recommended! When I told the inspector I was selling my home he told me he'd have to fumigate if I wanted an "Escrow Clearance". I asked him why he recommended Orange Oil in the first place and he said "our management has a bonus program for the most volume in Orange Oil treatments we sell". The Termite Guy, (his name is actually Guy) was on time and organized. He offered me several different options, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each. I decided that fumigation was the answer. Not only did The Termite Guy cover my house with no roof damage, they didn't even make me sign a damage waiver like other guys wanted me to sign. Here's the best part, they did all of this for $3,200, $1,300 less than the other guys wanted for the Orange Oil treatment alone! * Pros: Excellent work, fair prices. * Cons: None, they did exactly what they said they said they would do."
