Description of Work: Lots of miscommunication with the company. I scheduled an inspection and then got a call back that they had messed up the time. They wanted to change the appointment time - not a big deal but I had to rearrange the time for a person to be here to meet the inspector. They were very apologetic. I spoke to the inspector on the phone as he was heading over - he seemed very nice and competent. Inspector came and a report was promised within a week. I called 3 times over the course of 6-8 weeks and left messages each time, asking for the report. I finally reached a person and she couldn't find the report. Turns out they had my email wrong. I was surprised that after they took the time to come out and perform an inspection and then never followed up. The price seemed in the ballpark, but needless to say, I chose not to use them.

Description of Work: When I called to make an appointment, they told me that it had expired. I wasn't aware that there was an expiration date. So I lost 90.00 Very annoying

Description of Work: This deal was another misleading deal. The deal stated that if I spent $99, this company would credit me $500 toward termite service. So I was happy to buy the deal because I had a limited termite problem that would be handled very well with under a $500 investment. But what this deal actually meant was that this company would give me $500 off a full tenting of my property. And, their price quote for full tenting was above the average cost in my area. This infuriated me and I demanded my money back. I then had another company, a competitor, come out and do my termite work for $245. If Angie's List continue with these "bait and switch" deals, Angie's List will stop growing. Word gets around. Since this company has grown, these deals have become misleading and costly in the long run.

Description of Work: Went to wrong address first time. I waited for hours for them. Second time they went to correct address but were several hours late without calling. Pest service was not effective.

Description of Work: Everything went fine. I chose the "green" treatment, but I don't know if it worked that well. I dion't think it killed balck widows that well, but that is what I asked for.

Description of Work: Subterranean termite elimination; dry wood termite foam treatment. The serviceman was very cordial and professional. Excellent! Would definitely use this company again for pest control.

Description of Work: This was a complimentary service and the young man did a fantastic job. In and out in less than 15 minutes.

Description of Work: This was a promo inspection through Angie's List. It was $99 for a full inspection. Luckily for us, the exterminator found no termites in our home. We got most of the promo money back, since there was no problem. I was a little miffed that apparently Angies list kept a portion of my payment for their trouble. The inspector was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and efficient.

Description of Work: THE ENTIRE FRONT OF THE HOUSE WAS EATEN UP BY TERMITES & HAD TO BE REPLACED. TORE OFF THE FRONT REPLACED IT, REPAINTED IT,YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE. MY WIFE & I ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK. CARY HAY'S AND HIS CREW WERE GREAT,TO BAD I CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR MY CITY.

Description of Work: I had this deal for a month and they had set up days to check my place but never show and never call. Very unhappy!!!

Description of Work: Fleas treatment. But then the fellow doing the sprying mentioned the cost was $59. When I called the company I did not receive the $59 cost mentioned by the employee.

Description of Work: The person who did the actual work appeared to be very knowledgeable and thorough. They accidentally went to our existing home rather than the recently purchased house 45 minutes away. One call and the dispatcher realized the mistake, sent the worker to the correct address and refused my offer to pay for the first treatment. I will be back!

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $99 for termite inspection. They came out and did and inspection, but didn't look in the attic or underneath the house. He said he would provide an estimate that provided 3 options: fumigating, heat treatment, or localized treatment and to reseat the toilet. I week later, they finally emailed me the bid, but it only included 1 option. I emailed back asking where the other bids were. He called and gave me the estimates verbally and I asked that he provide them in writing, too. When he emailed back, there was only 1 additional bid and it was $1000 over what he had verbally quoted. Three weeks passed and I again asked for a bid without the cost of the toilet reseating, as I learned it was unneeded. In the meantime, I've had two other companies out who provided estimates with more work at a lower price.

Description of Work: Dan was prompt and very nice. He did a thorough check for termites in my exterior wood and found 4 areas of past or present infestation; he then climbed up on a ladder to put his head and flashlight up into the attic area to see what he could see from that vantage point. I asked him about how much it might be for the 4 areas that he found in my eaves and he said he would have the office send me an estimate. I felt the estimate was very high and subsequently, did not choose to take advantage of the $500 for $99 offer. Again, Dan was a very nice man, but I felt that he could have done a more thorough inspection that included attic and under the house to actually assess if there is any termite issue in those locations, and then at least his "report and estimate" would have been worth the $99 paid, even without the benefit of $500 towards what I felt was highly inflated prices for his termite exterminating services.

Description of Work: I used The Termite Guy to spray the foundation and they also sprayed something on the wall.
