George preformed the work with precision and was professional in all aspects of the job. He does great work at a very fair price. We will continue to call George for all of our electrical needs.
Description of Work: Installed two ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms. There was not current electrical box in the ceiling so wire had to be pulled from the outlet in the wall. All drywall was replaced and patched ready to be re-painted when the job was finished.

Description of Work: I called George Austin on 5/16/2012 and gave him a brief explanation of the electrical problem I was having. He agreed on a date and time to come out to my residence to trouble shoot the problem. George came out and within a 1/2 hour had pinpointed the problem and had given an estimate on the cost and time to make the necessary repairs. The job went as planned and my electrical problem was solved as promised.

Description of Work: George installed recessed lighting in two rooms, my large family room and my living room and a ceiling fan in the family room. He is a perfectionist in his work and makes sure that everything is not only going to look great, but light your room properly as well. He is also one of the first contractors I've met that covers all of your furniture and other belongings before he starts the day, and then when he leaves - even though he will be coming back the next morning - cleans everything up so you can't even tell there's a construction project going on in your house until he shows up the next morning! Because of the sheer size of the project, and because of some of the unusual nuances of my home's construction, the project took about 3 days to complete. Each time George would agree to meet, he would call me the evening prior to our appointment and confirm that we were still good to go and reassure me that he would be there. I liked that a lot. Furthermore - he was NEVER late! I won't need to get estimates on my kitchen lighting project. I'll have George do it as soon as I have the funds available!

He was careful in my home and covered anything that might be affected by dust, etc. George and his assistant, Linda, have a great system and worked very well together. He had to spend a lot of time in the attic which is not fun, but George knows his stuff and was extremely efficient. Everything that George installed and/or repaired is working properly and I am very happy with everything that George did for me. I would definitely hire George again and have no difficulty recommending him to others.
Description of Work: George installed two ceiling fans, two outside motion detector lights, repaired a broken light fixture and light switch.

 + -1 moreI had an outlet short out on me in the middle of the night with a loud arcing noise, sparks and smoke were coming out of it. I called George the following morning and he came out a few hours later. I have aluminum wiring and he explained the problems with the connections. So, we decided to check every outlet for safety reasons and discovered several problems. He showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgable. $930 was not really in the budget, but I can sleep better now that I don't have to worry about an electrical fire!
Description of Work: George checked every outlet in the house to make sure all the connections were in good condition.

He called the night before to confirm appointment. He arrived on time and we went over the things I needed done. He quickly gave me an estimate. Once we agreed on a price, he immediately began working. He worked all day and finished what I needed. George is very courteous, does quality work and is thorough. I will definitely be calling him for any electrical tasks I need in the future.

Description of Work: I was experiencing a problem with a lighting circuit. The Electrician out came at the appointed time and promptly checked all of the suspected circuits at the breaker box. Finding no problems there he went into the house and checked circuits around the problem area. In short order, he found the problem in a wall junction box in very short order. Elasped time less then 30 minutes. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency that the Electrician found and solved the problem. I would highly recommend his services to others who have similar problems.

He works tirelessly and is very knowledgable in his trade. Integrity is very important to me and he gets an A. The estimate was for a day and a half but they stayed late and finished it in one day. You will NOT regret using this company!

I determined it was the circuit breaker and when I called for estimates The Electrician came in far below anyone else and then he was early arriving at the house. The cost was exactly what he quoted (how great is that?) and since I had to pay for a service call he asked what else he could do, so he changed some light bulbs as well. I will be recommending him to anyone needing any electrical needs met.
