Thee worst experience of my life besides losing my son to cancer, that is how badly I rate Pro movers inc based out of Sanra Ana CA. They lie, cheat, steal, operate illegally, then blame you for not buying extra insurance, btw, very expensive, the move was already costing us $18,000+. They use excuses like " things get lost" "things go missing", " it's not our fault". Professional?!! My a**!!! These people need to be put out of business! I suggest Angie's list removes them immediately!! Stay away from pro movers, Sam Azar, John Rose, Gabriel, John Romero!!

Scammers. I hired two guys for $150 an hour. One guy walked out on the job because he wanted to go home. They are now trying to charge me $130 for half the workers and twice the time. Avoid!!!’

Great professional well price moving service. Joe and Payden got us packed up and moved into our new place within the morning. Definitely would use again. Highly recommended.

Out standing! All items were secured and put together perfectly upon arrival.

Overall the furniture was moved, but one piece with mirror had broken drawer and the movers seemed like they would be in trouble if we claimed it. Now I'm trying to fix myself. One mover had hurt his back and was not very helpful and to top it off, after the move I was missing some jewelry. .

It went Perfectly! To begin with, the office called me back right away and worked very hard to accommodate my last minute emergency! Next, I could not have asked for any better service. The two gentlemen showed up, not on time, But early! They called with a courtesy call before they arrived. The gentlemen were very professional, careful, and clearly there to do the best job possible. Our gentlemen helpers were Angel and Payden. Both men were professional and friendly the whole time. Angel was very thorough going over all the paperwork and informing us of any charges so all was clear. Both Angel and Payden worked hard the entire time, never wasting any time. They were both very patient, as we had to decide what we really wanted to take. As I stated before, we could not have asked for them to be any more helpful or hard working. I would not hesitate to hire Pro Movers Inc. of Orange County again, and of course request Angel and Payden, in a heart beat!

I can't say enough good about these folks. They did the job and they did it VERY well.

Our movers consisted of John, James and Andre and they did an awesome job moving us from 2 apartments into 1 condo. They were very efficient and careful with our belongings. I would definitely use them again for our next move.

We were very pleased with the overall experience with this company. I needed a mover on short notice to move our business, when our lease expired. They were quick to return my initial phone call and provide a quote. The scheduler was very professional and asked many questions to make sure they were sending adequate movers and a large enough truck. They also followed up the day prior to the move to confirm everything. On moving day, they showed up on time, ready to work. Dennis, Matt & Jonathan were very professional and courteous. They were experienced and carefully blanketed our delicate items and packed them properly in the truck. The move took longer than we expected. We provided food and drinks to the guys and they kept working until it was done. I've had plenty of bad experiences with movers in the past, but this company made it easy and delivered on everything they promised. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Only pros: Two movers, Payton and Dennis texted the day before the scheduled move to confirm. Payton and Dennis also texted the day of the move. They showed up on time, they took great care with wrapping and moving every object. They also went out of their way to do a split move, including taking stairs and personal care in stride. Both movers realized they were working with people that had handicaps, and insisted on doing everything. We did not have to lift a thing. They moved a 2 story home into a downsized condo with caring and pleasantness. What a relief. Payton and Dennis even took some things upstairs a spiral staircase that they were not expecting, and did it with a smile. Lovely, lovely people. Thank you to the corporation for answering the phone in person and helping us to pick the best move package. Thank you to the movers, who didn't even blink when we accidentally took them to the wrong storage unit. I would use and recommend Pro Movers of Orange County to anyone. They were fantastic. They damaged a lot of furniture. They worked hard but they didn't go over the paperwork with me before we actually started it, when the driver showed up. So we ended up not being able to claim any of the damage. So that was pretty frustrating. They ended up working longer. So we paid them $800. Then he threw in something for over time. I paid it. I wasn't really happy about it. But I paid it and I gave them a small tip. The furniture was only three years old. They broke a big porcelain pot we had that had one of the indoor trees. I said, "Okay. We'll let that go." But this other damage, we didn't see until after they left. The guys were helpful and they worked through the duration. But the end result was really not good, on the damage. They were within 10 minutes of when they said they were going to be there. There were only a few key pieces of furniture they really had to guard like that and they didn't. I wouldn't recommend them. The rate that they offered you ongoing was only good if you paid in cash.

They showed up a bit late and then asked me to read and sign a long contract. This took about 15 minutes when we only had them for 2 hours. The two guys did not move quickly at all and took longer than the two hours. When they unloaded the truck into the apartment they just dropped the furniture anywhere, and even left a night stand upside down. We actually hired another mover to come and finish the arrangement and set up of the furniture. They charged us an additional amount for going over the 2 hours but when I complained they did return the extra money they charged. They were nice about the problems but the movers were terrible. I would not use this company again.

Exceptional Service! Prompt, Friendly, Considerate, Will use them again! Loved it! I had so much anxiety about this move and they were great!. They moved me with ease and efficiency. BEST experience and I recommend Chris P & Steve HIGHLY. Even after I was ready to drop, we had 20 minutes before the truck left and the awesome Steve coaxed me to pack a few more boxes with that extra little stuff that always seems to be left behind. They?re great! Don?t hire anyone else!

Purchased a deal through Angie's List for 4 hours (3 movers + a truck) for $458.00 based on positive feedback from other Angie's List members. Services rendered were good or better. Pro Movers, Inc. of Orange County (Jorge, Juan, Rudy) arrived on time. They moved quickly but were careful with our belongings. Nothing was damaged or broken in transit. They were polite and friendly. They worked with us to arrange the furniture in our new apartment. They overcame several small challenges getting large furniture up narrow stairways and through front doors. After all of the horror stories I've heard and read about movers, I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth this operation was. Will definitely Call Pro Movers, Inc. of Orange County if I need to move again in the future.

Looked like a good deal for the service we needed, but unfortunately on the day of our move I got a call saying the 3 man crew that was already running late could no longer make it. We had to move out that day so they provided a different two man team instead. Apparently it was a family emergency for the 3 man crew driver, so I don't blame him for that, but would prefer a better contingency plan than what was provided. The two guys who showed up really earned they money plus a good tip but they were exhausted and struggling towards the end, which I don't blame them for either as it was no way a 2 man job. After some sturdy negotiating from my wife with their office we got a small refund on the difference between a 2 and 3 man deal, but it wasn't easy. Probably just a bad day but one that could't have been more poorly timed.

These folks delivered a quality service far beyond our expectations. So here it is unpacking day 2 of move weekend and I am taking the time to write this review. Pro Movers moved items such as a grandfather clock, a big green smoking egg (fyi for cooking) which was nested in a mega rolling nest topped with matching green granite, etc. so you get the drift. They communicated their pending and prompt arrival on moving day. They were so friendly and worked hard to make what would normally be a very stressful day, fun and so positive. They paid attention to details and ensured that this persnicky / picky southern woman didn't experience too much angst. I recommend the below moving crew: John G. (driver); James M; Jason; and Chris P. of truck 16.

All job was done. No damages. One improvement i could suggest is that moving quickly and on time.

I contacted Pro Movers in a panic after I was stood up by another moving company. I left a message late on Saturday and was amazed when I got a return call several minutes later. I was able to arrange for their services for the following Monday. Although they were quite late in arriving, I was patient because I knew I was being accommodated. John and Pagen (please forgive any name butchering!) did an excellent job for me. They listened and followed instructions precisely. I appreciated the care they showed with my furnishings. I strongly recommend Pro Movers for jobs small and large and plan to use them again.

Pro Movers live up to their name...they are truly PROs!! They called ahead with arrival time (and were exactly on-time), they were friendly and efficient. I felt like they cared for my stuff like it was their own. Everything was wrapped and a wheeled on dollies very carefully. Stairs were no issue. These guys never complained and not one scratch or nick on the furniture or any walls. They are reasonably priced, give excellent customer service and are efficient! Excellent all the way around!!!

Overall a very good experience. The guys were great - quick, friendly, and careful. The only issue we ran into was that on the drive from the apartment to the house, they took a wrong turn thanks to their GPS and ended up getting stuck in a ditch. I can't blame them completely for this because the area does get confusing and I know others (including myself) have fallen victim to wrong directions provided by our navigation systems. The problem gets compounded when you're driving a 26-foot truck and you're trying to turn around. Anyways, 5 hours later and with the help of a tow truck, they were finally able to get to the house with our stuff. I could tell they were frustrated at that point, and they may also have lost a job for the afternoon, but they bounced back pretty quickly and finished the move without any issues. I also had furniture in a couple of pods on the driveway that they emptied for us. Other pluses - they brought wardrobe boxes that we used to pack a lot of our clothes in. They offered to move items that I hadn't asked them to move in the beginning, but seeing how careful they were with everything else, I let them do it (e.g. TV, large speakers, etc.). The overall price we paid (with the Angie's List deal) was excellent given the quality of the service. Also, after they got stuck, we called the company and they offered to send one more person to finish the job faster, or to take 1/2 hour off the final bill (we chose the latter).

It was a good experience and I hope my stuff isn't broken when I have it unloaded in a couple of weeks. The guys that arrived worked hard and were nice.

Dennis's team came on time and were very professional. They were very careful with our belongings and after two days of unpacking, I still haven't found any broken pieces. They were probably the best movers we've ever used.

They chages 3 times more and the broke some glasses and damage the furniture. They were to follow up but never did.

We bought the Angies deal of $268 for two movers (with supplies) and a truck for three hours.. thought that would be enough given what there was to move. The two movers showed up on time at 9:10 .. Everything was boxed, but they did let us use two wardrobe boxes, which was nice of them. The furniture was wrapped well and everything was loaded by 10:30 I went to work and my wife went to supervise moving her fathers items to the new apt. I then get a call from the movers that they can't get in the gate. Well there is no gate, so they are at the wrong address. I give them my wife's number so they can call her for help finding the right place. Later I call to see if they made it and all was well. Except my wife told me she was TOLD that the movers EXPECT a tip at the end of 20 to 40%?!?! what? Hey, I'm all for tipping good work and I was planning on doing so, but how professional is it to tell someone you expect a tip.. and who tips 40% for anything? The conversation was like "We typically get a tip and most people give between 20 and 40 percent. We have families..." I assume they get a wage.. the tip is a bonus, not something one is guilted into. I decided to leave work and go over to help. I get there and they are moving stuff in. At the end there was only the mattress left to bring up, so I go down to our truck to get some pictures and I see the movers folding moving blankets and organizing their truck. So, I guess that's on MY dime? .. once they were done folding they brought up the last item (bed). The lead mover says, "ok, all done!" and I go in to sign the paper. I sign and hand him a $50 tip. I think we're done and he is still in there.. I got a feeling he was disappointed in the tip.. after a bit he calls me back in and says I owe more since we went over the three hours. They started at 9:10 (well, they arrived at 9:10 and started a bit after due to paperwork) and "ended" at 1pm... I was told that was 4.5 hours due to double drive time, which was fine with me, so I paid another $115. So, they were on time, and when I was there they moved at a good pace. They were also VERY polite. But, asking for a tip, and suggesting between 20 and 40 percent was out of line.. I also didn't like that they folded blankets before bringing up the last load, but that's minor. More annoyed at being told to tip. We are moving our house next week and I was going to use this company, but I'm not sure MY family can afford a 40% tip on a $900 move. I'm also concerned that they will remember that I "only" gave them $50 and my service will be less. So, I found another mover on Angies list for that one.

The move went very well from start to finish. The guy who booked our appointment was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I gave them about 1.5 weeks noticed and were totally able to make my desired date/time work. They called the day before and confirmed the appointment and when they day came, the movers actually called me and asked if I would like to start early...which I took them up on. From there, the movers were very easy going (despite the fact that there was still plenty of items we hadn't packed). They were very thorough and provided plenty of garment boxes and very large random boxes to move lose items like shoe boxes. They wrapped most of our furniture, mattresses, TVs, and paintings...which was a big relief. They also unloaded and were happy to place everything were needed. The only thing we didn't have them do, was disassemble and reassemble anything. They were also very informative about the contract/rates and insurance coverage (upfront, without being asked). Other than the great job, the definite pro was their personality of the movers. They seemed happy to be there and didn't mind asking questions about how we wanted things or going with the flow of the move. The only down-side, was that it wasn't the fastest move I've ever had for our items, but it was worth the extra quality/care that the put towards the move. All together, a great job and would definitely recommend them again.
