He showed up announced far in advance of the appointment, when we were going out the door to go to another previously scheduled appointment. He wasn't prepared to give us an estimate when he was here and said that he would email us an estimate later. He did not get us the estimate by the date promised. The attachment finally sent to us was in a format that my sister's computer could not open. When we called and asked him to send a pdf, he told me she was not using the computer correctly. She is an attorney and communicates by email constantly without problem, so didn't appreciate being told she didn't know how to use her computer and could not imagine why he could not send a pdf to allow us to view the bid. We hired someone else without knowing how much he would charge.

They were professional and punctual but they were expensive.

The price quoted was $450 and while it felt a little high, I was okay with it since they have to bring everything out for small job... and they could work with my tight timeframe. . When the painter arrived (not the owner), and started work... I was surprised to see he was starting without putting down any dropcloths or doing any masking. This was in a carpeted bedroom (with a minimal amount of furniture in it -- a bed with bedding on it and a desk). I asked him about it and he admitted to having forgotten his drop cloths. Luckily, I had some in the garage and I provided them for him. A little while later, he came and asked me if I had a ladder he could borrow. Really? He forgot his dropcloths and ladder? I did have one, but by this time, was really concerned. Ultimately, the paint job was fine and the owner did knock $50 off the price for me when I complained. But, I would not call them again based on this experience.

They were very professional and responsive, and they came out when they were supposed to come out. They did a nice job in a timely manner. We did not have any problems at all. We got two or three bids, and they were neither the most expensive nor the most inexpensive. Their quality was very good. We would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Overall a well done job. However, the owner was rarely there, leaving the job to his workers. The workers are fine painters, but I was left with the task of job foreman. I needed to tell them when a surface needed priming first, or that a piece of furniture needed to be moved so that the wall could be painted behind it. I never got an argument, everything I ask for was done quickly and neatly. Any rework that needed to be done was performed without objection. I would use them again.

It was great. Everything was very professional. They even did a little extra work that I was not expecting them to do.

There are certain areas that we had him put MDF and he his craftsmanship just shows. His employees are very nice and polite, they are early, and they do a great job.

It went very well and they did a good job with the painting. They were very professional and the clean-up was pretty good. There were no major problems. The service cost was in the thousands. They seemed to be a little expensive, but they did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

He's very good, professional, detailed and cares about getting it down right. He wasn't happy with some so they did redo that part.

Robert was very knowledgeable and helpful from the time he came to give an estimate. We were also impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail of his crew. They worked around our kitchen remodel schedule, and did a very nice job. Robert even helped with the paint color choice. Would highly recommend MR Professional Painting!
