I got multiple quotes from diff providers for home landscaping and irrigation repair, and eventually selected Emerald Coast over others even though they were more expensive. I was assured by the owner that they know how to do it "right" and i went for that.. Big mistake! Positives: The owner was responsive and punctual with his proposal and followup. The owner generally seemed very knowledgeable. The work crews were on time and courteous. Negatives: The owner was difficult to work with: Not a good listener; expects his customers to tell him exactly what needs to be done. I had made it clear that I needed his "expertise" to get the irrigation and landscaping done "right". And, once he got the job, all he wanted to do was stick to the bare min he could get away with. He kept referring me back to the some mumbo jumbo details of his proposal that I did not understand.. The quality of work was very average and sloppy. Once they completed, they did not inform us or walk us through what was done.. The place was a mess. We had to hire someone else to clean up. In the end I spent close to $ 3K and felt it was a rip-off.
