When Demers Electric showed there was two men, I showed them the issues and they began their diagnosis of the issue. Now mind you they are apparently licensed electricians. One man took a phone call for the most of the time they spent which lasted all of 20 minutes. The other began telling me that the lights were part of the low voltage lighting system which was crazy as the lights have 3 bulbs each and the fixture had a 120V sticker on it. Now I'm no electrician but I do know that low voltage is low voltage.Then after I pointed out where I be live the electricity was coming from they moved from the low voltage to the issue. I pointed to a junction box and he then unscrewed and saw some wires cut and capped them and said that was our issue. then he found another set of cut wire and said that was our issue. He did cap both sets of cut wire and then offered to come back out to fix the issue at the American Home Shield rate of $85 per hour to fix it. Then asked for his $60 check for showing up and doing nothing.By far the worst experience of had and I caution you from using their service due to non qualified as well as a switch and bait approach to business.
Description of Work: I Have a home warentee thru American Home Shield and they set up Demers Electric to come out for the repair. The repair was for the two outside home lamps on the walkway. The light are not receiving electric which I figured out after I replaced the bulbs.

I had a exhaust fan 'pop' and put out the lights in my kitchen, dining room and garage. We called the Home Warranty company and they told us the someone would be out between 3:00 - 5:00PM the same day. At around 3:00PM their office called me to say their arrival may be later between 4:00 - 6:00PM. However, they arrived at about 4:10PM. I told them what happened and they checked the fan and the switch and determined that the problem was a bad switch and replaced it. They were very respectful of my things asking to put down towels so they would not scratch anything. They showed me how to safely reset the breaker and answered all of my questions. He asked me to check all of the other lights that didn't work just to make sure that they did now - and they did. It took them about 10 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem. I had an overall great experience with Demer's Electric.

Told me that he was going to come out the next day with a ladder but never showed up. Call the home warranty company and complained about demers electric
Description of Work: the guy, David was unprofessional....came late. What kind of electrician comes to a site without a ladder where I've advised them to bring one because they need to be able to access the second floor. He said he will have to come back another day to be able to inspect the work that needed to be done!!! BE AWARE!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I paid $55 but did not get anything for the service other than him telling me he could not do anything for me.
Description of Work: I had them work on our home as a part of the home warranty program. They came out and told us nothing was wrong with the system and told us that plugs outdoors we causing the system to not be re-set after it gets shut off. It seems like there should be something he could do, being a professional. Now it has rained again, the system is down and I have lost power at various points throughout my home.

Called on a Sat. morning. Picked up right away. Said he could come later that day and to call him right back and leave my contact information on his voice mail since he was on a job site. I then waited all day for him to call back. Called him again 3-4 hours later, left a voice mail asking him to call me to let me know if he could still make it. Never heard back. It was the hottest day of the summer and it was outside work, so I assume he didn't want the job. At the least, should have called me back to say he couldn't make it after all. I lost a day waiting around for him to come by or call back.
Description of Work: Needed troubleshooting on the outdoor electrical running to my automatic sprinkler system. No electric getting to the system.

THEY WHERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY WERE EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH. THEY WERE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT WE HAD OUT THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM FOREVER. WE WENT THROUGH 2 COMPANIES BEFORE THEM.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED BAD WIRING WITH NEW WIRING. THEY ALSO DID SOME ELECTRICAL IN MY KITCHEN.
