I paid $ 110.00 to have AG Appliance come to our home because our top open was simply going 'dead' when it either got too hot or at seemingly random times. A repairman came out on Tuesday, 9/7/22 and let me know that he needed to find a new control board and would get back to me quickly. Today, 10/3/22 I called AG Appliance Repair and was told that their 'technician' could find nothing wrong and, therefore, the case was closed. I repeated what he told me and stressed that there was obviously a problem or I would not have paid $ 110.00 for them to come out in the first place. AG Appliance Repair said I should get a second opinion -- in other words, find a REPUTABLE company that will do what they say they will do. I have never had something like this happen before but will certainly NEVER use AG Appliance Repair again. Either they are liars or incompetent -- or both. Do NOT use this company. I believe they are a scam.

I will try ALL COST to avoid AG APPLIANCE REPAIR in the future! They are liars and not capable of fixing my dishwasher at all. AG APPLIANCE came to change the electric boards TWICE for my 2021 pretty new dishwasher and it still cannot dry my dishes. I took pics to prove that my dishes still have plenty of water on both top and lower racks and AG APPLIANCE updated AHS that my dishwasher has no "mechanical" issues. EXCUSE ME?! I had 4-5 dishwashers and NONE of them dry dishes like this, heated dry but still have lots of water on BOTH racks and dishes. AG APPLIANCE can just tell AHS that they are not capable of fixing it, but instead they are telling LIES! I also wasted 10 days for AG Appliance to 2nd diagnose my dishwasher after they installed my 2nd electric board and the heat-dry function still not working! For your sake of goods, please stay away from AG APPLIANCE to save your money and time!

Like many others American Home Shield (AHS) sent AG Appliance to address my nonfunctioning ice maker. The tech, Alvardo, came out and I was very happy with him. He immediately identified a broken wire the comes from the bottom of the freezer and goes into the bottom of the freezer door. He showed me the broken wire and even showed me a photo he took of the broken wire that he said he was submitting to AHS. He explained to me this is unfortunately a common issue with this model refrigerator / freezer and he has seen it many times. He stated that after open and closing the freezer door over a period of time the wire(s) get damaged due to a poor design. Well, this afternoon I spoke with AHS who advised AG Applicance reported to them that the wiring issue was due to rodent damage??? I called AG Appliance 3/way with AHS and the lady we spoke with confirmed the report they submitted to AHS sated it was rodent damage. I asked her if she can have Alvaro come back to my home to explain this was rodent damage, she said NO. I said I understand and asked if she can have Alvaro call me, she said NO. I asked if they will send me a copy of the report they sent to AHS, she said NO. I asked if they will send me the photo Alvaro took on his phone that he showed me, she said NO. While I could be wrong, I do not believe Alvaro submitted a report stating the wiring was damaged due to rodents as he just did not seem to be that kind of guy. So, what would be the reason for this. Not saying they do but makes you wonder if AHS vendors make a larger profit when they assist in denying a claim? At first I was extremely upset with AHS but after confirming with them their position was based upon what AH Applicance reported to them it is understandable why they denied the claim. I have spoken with AHS and they are sending out another vendor for a 2nd opinion. I'll update this post with the outcome of their findings. Just wanted to add that these folks with the same refrigerator / freezer and the same issue must have rodents too: [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***] Last thing, like I just filed a complaint with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services, who regulates companies such as AG Appliance Repair, you too can file a complaint if you believe their actions were not professional... Hello. Fidelity Home Warranty sent AG Appliance to my home to address the ice maker dispenser push cushion. The service is not top notch, in fact it was really unprofessional and confusing. The push cushion popped out and the AG Appliance tech reported to Fidelity that this could only happen with abuse. I don't even know what that means. We do not abuse our dispenser. On top of that, the tech took out the ice bucket parts and left them on my counter, not putting them back before he left. He also did not call me prior to arrival so I could be there on time from work. This company was not professional to say the least. I called to get further explanation of what their report of abuse means and was told that nobody would address this or call me back but I could email them if I wanted. I did email the company and got no response. Fidelity stated that since we abused the ice maker push pad, they would not repair it. I'm not sure how one would abuse an icemaker but this is really frustrating. I am disappointed in both Fidelity and AG Appliance.

UPDATE: 9/7 It has been 6 weeks without a working fridge. This business works with AHS. DO NOT let them send this Co., to you. If you allow them to initiate a repair, then you are basically stuck with them. They can keep "repairing/not repairing" your appliance, you have no recourse. I believe AG knows this. They have no interest in providing any quality of service. Read the other reviews! It is the same story over and over. This company will lie to you, they do not care about the service they give you, they mis-diagnose the problem which causes continual repairs, they take abhorently long to repair an appliance, and the repair may not be a good or lasting repair. (not just my opinion, read other reviews, and check YELP as there is a longer history and more reviews) I placed a call for Refrigerator repair on 7/27, AG came on 7/29 diagnosed that fan needed to be replaced said they would order the part and return on 8/9. I was called a week later and told part came in but was defective and would have to be re-ordered, and they would come for repair on 8/13 making it 2 1/2 weeks since my 1st request for a repair. When they came on 8/13 to replace the fan, I was told that the compressor was also bad, and they would need to order one. I was told that they would order the part THAT DAY and would EXPEDITE the part. On 8/16 I was called and told a repairman was going to come to to do a diagnostic on my refridgerator seals, and that a compressor could not be ordered until they did so. ( I was also given and one hour notice that he was coming. I was becoming desperate to have a refridgerator and I agreed to the last minute appt). The Tech came said seals were fine, and my compressor is fine too as he could hear it working. He said he needs to order more parts and when he returns it will take him a couple hours to work on the repair, and that my refridge may go out in 5-6 months as I may have more than one problem. 0n 8/24 I called AG to ask about status of my repair. I was told part would come in on 8/28 and they would call me then to schedule repair. So we are looking at a month or possibly longer to repair. 8/28 Tech came to do repair which consisted of replacing freon and putting in a special ink to show where any existing leaks might be. Was told not to put anything in fridge for 72 hours. Was told fridge could go out in few days, or it could be several months. I was also told to keep the old, broken fan that they replaced on 7/29 for 3 months?? I asked for an invoice showing the work he did as well as his instructions. The Tech told me he could not give me an invoice as he did not work for AG, only helped them out when they needed an expert. AHS so far will not help, as long as parts are being ordered it is considered a legitimate repair process. Over 6 weeks without a fridge! AG is a Horrible, horrible company. BEWARE! (Shame on AHS for allowing it)
