Would not recommend them to anyone. We had the worst experience with these guys. Scope of project: kitchen complete remodel, replacing carpet flooring with vinyl tile flooring , redo electrical for kitchen area only cost: 100K+ what went to plan: - kitchen demo - made one nice dry wall - setting up and framing of the kitchen area what went wrong: - communication/scheduling : we would never be told ahead of time when work was being done. Sometimes there would be days stretches where no one showed up and then guys would show up randomly on a Sunday morning. At the start of the project we told them we were going to move into the back half of the house, so just have that clean. We moved into trash and debris everywhere. They also saw a vinyl strap , strapped to our tree, tied to our neighbor's fence (it was there keeping the fence up as the tree was leaning into the neighbors fence). In their brilliance, they decided to cut the strap and use it for themselves. How did we know? we found it on our roof, used to tie some electrical conduit. Who the heck does that?! We should've cut ties at that point, it was just the start...if we only knew. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt...but things kept going wrong. - Kitchen cabinet install was not leveled, we end up telling them to not bother coming back and we installed the whole kitchen ourselves (re-leveling the base cabinets, putting on the hardware, installing the cabinet doors. - broke several custom panels (to their credit, they did pay for the reorder) but we ended up installing it ourselves , which we were never offered refund the labor. - the kitchen counter was not leveled, we also had to redo it ourselves in order for the independent countertop guys to install it. - cut hole for electrical switch too big, huge gap now in our org Eichler panel that is not repairable unless we replace the whole wall. - cut hole in wood beam ceiling too big for ceiling vent even though they had the manufacturer's specifications. tried to fix it, but it looks terrible. - lied and said they had experience installing lux vinyl tile. They didn't. The flooring , which is supposed to be new, looks like flooring that has been there for years and hadn't been replaced. It was discolored, uneven, not leveled, and not even lined up. How can you mess up lining up squares? Our sales person Joe ,came and made excuses after excuses , telling us " no one can install it better than them" , that this is the "best" we'll get. I cannot believe he could look us in the face and say that. We ended up requesting 1500 back, though for us to reorder redo the tiles for the kitchen will be 3K+. - as a last F you to us, they gave us the bill for the permit fees which includes a 3% of project cost recycling deposit that is 100% refundable if they just do the paperwork and let the city know where they recycled the demolition material. Our kitchen project was 80K and so it was $2400. Guess what, they "never heard of this" and have no proof of where they recycled the material and so cannot get the refund. I have no idea where they dumped the material.....and we're out 2400. The best thing about this project is finishing and NEVER having to deal with them again.

It was excellent. The end product was excellent. They stayed in contact with me the entire time and helped me understand what's needed be done.

They were great. The guy that leads the crew was very responsive in calling me and letting me know what's gonna happen. They were fine, they did the work, and got it done.

They did a great job. They were all just very good. I can call them anytime.

There were some random patches of work that I needed done around the house and these pros were the ones to call. Could not be more satisfied with the level of professionalism and quality service.

When Roy and I settled on the price of installation of the windows and door, I asked him if he wasn't going to measure the windows and he said "I already did, didn't you see me?" And since I wasn't sure how the process went, I thought maybe he measured the windows on the porch in the time it took me to answer the door and although I was surprised, I let it go. Two days later, on a Sunday afternoon, my doorbell rings and here comes Roy to measure the windows. When I mentioned to him that I thought you said you already did that, his comment to me was "I believe in measuring twice and cutting once" so off we go to measure the windows. The windows were delivered in approximately 2 weeks, as he said they would be and the installers were here promptly in the morning. They were 2 very nice, professional men who got right to work with 2 mishaps; one being that the bathroom window was not measured correctly and required the installation of 1" furring strips to be installed on both sides of the window. Roy measured the window as 12" wide instead of 14" - so much for measuring twice and cutting once. The other issue was one of the bedroom windows was made upside down which necessitated waiting another almost 2 weeks for the window job to be completed. The installers had barely left the premises before Roy was here to collect the money. When I asked him what about my back door, he told me that he wasn't going to do it because it was a special order, and the door would cost me about $1500.00 . I told him there was no way that door would cost that much and he deducted $500 from the total cost. Getting that door installed was very important to me and knowing this, I don't think Roy had any intention of installing a door from the beginning and he just said that to get the window job. There were several occasions including the day before the window job was completed that he could have or should have told me about the door because I asked him every time I talked to him what about the door and he repeatedly reassured me that it would be done. I am very disappointed in this company as I don't think they are above board on all their business practices. Approximately 2 weeks later, again on a Sunday afternoon, here comes a knock on the door and to my surprise it is Roy again stating he was here to pick up payment for the windows - What? I paid you 2 weeks ago - I had to show him my paperwork and after 5 minutes going over everything he signed off on he was on his way. I told him to stop coming over without calling and he said he didn't have my number. I have several things I would like to have done in the future, but I would not call this company as I don't trust that they would complete and/or deliver what they promised.

Ordered an Angie's List deal of a deck design from the company for $50, but haven't heard from them at all. Requesting refund.

It's an ongoing thing. I had my card charged. I scheduled a site visit. They came out and were really friendly. They took a look at couple of things and told me they would get back to me with a quote and a design and then, they never did. I never heard another thing from them. Recently, I sent them a follow-up e-mail and said, "What's going on? Can I get this quote and this design?" I haven't heard anything back from them. Now I'm talking to Angie's List about getting a refund of the fee I paid them. There were no additional charges. They did not do what they said they were going to do and disappeared. They could have e-mailed and said, "Hey, we can't do this. It's too much for us." They just absconded with my $49. Two guys showed up. One guy showed up and another guy showed up a little bit later, to look at it. They were wearing regular clothes. The two guys who came out were fine. They were professional and they seemed to know what they were talking about.

Mikey was my sales rep, he outlined all work to be done. I had concerns about upcoming rains, but he assured me work will only be done on dry days. Crew supervisor, Cesar, introduced himself as work begun with power washing. Second day, they bought in a large crew to repair the walls. Third day, they put on first coat. Fourth day, second coat and trim. 5th day was touch ups. They cleaned up and overall did a great job. I like that they used a supervised crew, and there was no time wasted. Mikey called and checked on the progress and any concerns I might have. Painting crew supervisor left his business card, and said to call if I had any problems at all. Weeks later a rep from their office called and asked if I had any problems and wanted feedback on their crew.

They called me back when I left a email. They did not acknowledge the deal that I was offered. I would never recommend them! Synthia

As near as we can tell, Superb Builders consists of a husband and wife, an Abbot and Costello Boiler Room operation, a truly magnificent Potemkin village of a website, and one or more estimators who claimed variously to represent them (or maybe someone else!). We initially contacted them after viewing the website, which resulted in a relentless pursuit by the Boiler Room Boys, a visit by a contractor who presented himself as another company and who produced an instant estimate (more than 250% of what it finally cost) with no measurements or calculations. We had not called this guy. He said he had "heard" that we were looking for a contractor. For reasons we will explain, we now believe this guy was a shill. There was a subsequent visit by someone else claiming to represent them who did make what appeared to be a real estimate (but only good if we signed the contract right then and there). This latter estimator told us what a deal we were getting. He said other companies would quote us much, much more, and then produced the *same* high figure as the putative shill. A big, high pressure close followed. We got suspicious and called all numbers for them we found on the internet or that were associated with them (such as the estimator's business card). None of the numbers were operable except the one for the wife on their website's Domain Name Registration. The other was for the husband who was listed as owner of Superb at the Better Business Bureau and had the same number. At the Better Business Bureau there was a recent, unresolved complaint alleging that Superb had accepted a large deposit on a job, then disappeared. Alarmed, we decided to go with someone else who completed the work in a little over a week, doing a great job for about the amount quoted by Superb in the second, "real" estimate. So the *amount* of that quote was about right. Note that we can't really say that Superb is a con, since we didn't go with them. But we can promise you an interesting experience if you call them.... ;-) And of course, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has a beak and webbed feet, well, you know the rest. The contractor and work crew were efficient, punctual, and professional. The finished the project in a week; kept up great communication, and always told us what they were doing, and when they were going to do it. We're very happy with the work they did, and would not hesitate to have them do other projects.

It was excellent! They were very clean throughout the job. Also had a good sense of style. Everything was completed exactly the way that I wanted, and the price was extremely fair. Initially they were only set to do my bathroom, but they did such a good job that I also gave them the task to build the overhang as well. The workers are also EXTREMELY trustworthy. I had left them at my house from time to time unsupervised, but everything was perfect.

.1st it was the small things. Vents and steps. Then the BIG stuff! First the attic was reinforced. Then they taped off my whole living room (DOUBLE) so nothing could leave that room. (I am on oxygen, so CANNOT breath dust and particulates) They made sure I DID NOT!!! They removed all insallation and then the ceiling. Put in new ceiling, then cracks were cut open, filled, sanded, and the whole room painted. My living room is BEAUTIFUL. Of course they brought their paint samples and let me choose. It is a Whisper Blue. In the mean time, 2 gentleman spent 3 full days under my house, and on the 4th day one gentleman finished up. What a difference it made to walk thru my house. WHAT A SOLID FEELING!!!! Nothing rattles anymore when I walk thru. This company is great. NO JOB TOO BIG, NO JOB TOO SMALL!!! Whatever you need done, they can and will do it. They DO NOT run from job to job. They start your job and work til it's finished. This I really liked. How many contractors have TOO MANY jobs at one time. Not Superb Builders! It went well, and for the first time (in all the work I have had to have done) I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this company from the beginning to the end. Although, we aren't at the end yet. Hip replacement comes first. WHATEVER the job may be, I would CALL THIS COMPANY FIRST. People need to work, and People need work done. I had such a hard time finding someone that would do big jobs, or small jobs. It was very frustrating til Adam Yosef walked into my life. No job too big, and no job too small. THANK YOU ADAM!!!!!!!!! You gave me a sense of security!!!

At first, Mikey the supervisor came to my house to give me the bid. When I heard the price I was surprised because I didn't expect to pay so much. Later one Mikey explained to me what he to be done exactly and broke down the cost as far as labor, materials, rough materials, etc. it made sense afterwards. I chose to go with their business and my wife and I couldn't be happier. They did an amazing job, everything Mikey promised and wrote on the legal agreement was delivered. Also, the payment plan went according to plan and timing was perfect. Superb Builders really impressed my wife and I and I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and anyone who needs any type of home improvement. They also worked very clean and hauled away all the debris the same day as demolition.

The appointment was made through a cold call asking if I was planning any work on the house. Since I wanted to have my kitchen cabinets refaced, I went ahead and made an appointment for that afternoon for an estimate. The estimator was an hour late, but otherwise was a pleasant person. After talking for quite a while about their product and service, I asked for an estimate. He explained that they charged by the linear foot, not by the number of cabinets. Instead of a formal estimate, I was given a handwritten list of what was to be done. However, the price kept changing. First their was a price, then it was discounted, then a free tile floor was added. The biggest factor, stated over and over, was the changing price coming for the summer season. If I did not sign now, my price would go from $14,600 to $19,300. I would have the standard 3 days to cancel, but I still felt put on the spot to decide right away. I would not sign under this pressure and the estimator politely left.

I had a problem with the washer backing up into the garage and they cured the backing up problem by installing larger pipes under the house and repaired the drywall that the previous guy cut into to take a look at what was going on behind the washer.

This company fraudulently called me claiming that I had called them last year to inquire on work. I have never contacted this company and am on the Do Not Call list. The mans name was Rigo Tucker.
