Description of Work: Alcosta Co came today in completed the maintenance on my garage door. Mark was great to work with. He explained what he was doing and now the door moves much quieter than before. He also changed my only incandescent light bulb to two LEDs with no extra charge. He explained lube maintenance. I would give him an excellent review and have his card should neighbors need some garage door work.

Description of Work: Adjusted/lubed door, replaced all rollers, repaired a bad roller joint on door that was bending the door

Description of Work: He oiled the garage door, changed the springs and helped realign it. Friendly, was quick and he did the job right. I was a little shocked to see the springs he sold me for $70 each, actually only cost $19 each, in addition to labor charges, but I guess that's the name of the game. Would hire the company again for my garage door needs.

Description of Work: I took advantage of the Garage Door Tune-up. My garage door is at least 25 years old and it never has been inspected. He performed all the reconditioning points for smooth operation and safety features. The one thing not included was springs. The springs were an unusual model which he had to order for the next day. I decided to have new springs installed because my originals were old and I didn't want my door non functioning for awhile while looking for someone to replace the broken springs. Everything was done efficiently by a qualified person. He notified me promptly when he was delayed at another project. I definitely would use their services again.

Description of Work: The service provider came out and let us know that the 'big deal' did not apply to our garage door (was for a roll-top garage door and we have a solid door), and that the value wouldn't be worth it for us. We then had him check out our garage door and apply necessary changes. He provided a different service that cost less than $100, so again still not eligible for the 'big deal' price. Our experience with both Angie's List and the service provider were great, and we will be using both services again! :)

Description of Work: I am an Angies List newbie and hate to submit ambiguous comments. We are also newbies when it comes to care of garage door openers. Here goes. Alcosta was on time and pleasant. There was a small uptick in final price which we happily accepted based on what was recommended. The uptick otherwise is that the other elements of the job apparently involved brief inspections of some other elements of the door, and little dialogue as I believe a call came in for another job after ours. It may be that cursory inspections were all that was needed, but we would have liked to chat: briefly. Particularly because we have an old door (20+ years.) The rollers require oiling to work well: we do that fairly often. I repeat, we are both Angies and garage door newbies. Before posting I'd like to hear what Alcosta might want to say back. Haven't used Angies for anything else, but plan to as needs arise.
