Description of Work: Replace garage door spring

Description of Work: Repaired the broken garage door spring and the gear wheel in the opener, two separate and emergent problems. I was so happy with the very prompt, professional and friendly service.

Description of Work: Replace springs on garage door. Adjust and grease door opener mechanisms. Did a quick and thorough job.

Description of Work: Replaced rubber bumper on bottom of garage door and made it rodent proof. Replaced springs so door would stay open when on manual operation.

Description of Work: Roger came out the same day I called. Removed and changed the springs so the door could manually moved up and down. Granzel came out and replaced motor and switch. All old materials were taken away as per my request. They did a great job!

Description of Work: My garage door just wouldn't open. It was a Friday afternoon and I had to call around a bit to find someone who could come out that day. Alcosta came out and fixed the problem which was a broken spring. I have no idea how much this should cost so I am not sure if the price was good or not. The service was worth it.

Description of Work: Alcosta came and did a door tune up with new rollers, and fixed my door opener light. They were prompt and professional, very helpful and gave the agree upon price. I would recommend them.

Description of Work: Tune up garage door and replaced garage door opener. |They had to come out twice - could not get car out of garage - came back the next day and did the work. He tuned up the garage door and determined that I needed a new opener. Did a very professional job and timely. Now when I open the door it is very quiet and it moves smoothly.

Description of Work: I initially scheduled the first appointment, but the company never called back to confirm it nor show up for the appointment, I then rescheduled the appointment, letting them know what happened with the first appointment. On the second appointment, the company did call back to confirm the date and time of my appointment and showed up on time. |They replaced the rollers as stated in the advertisement, however, it cost me an additional $250, because the worker said the contacts were no good and needed to be replaced, thus costing me $250 more than expected.

Description of Work: Replaced both broken springs on the roll-up door. The performed the job while I was at work. When I got home, I had a functioning garage door again. All in all, I'd say it went well.

Description of Work: Excellent. The serviceman did all the work promised ("tuning up" the door and replacing the metal rollers with nylon). He also gave me a suggestion for dealing with the uneven floor that was very economical.

Description of Work: We got the garage door tune up and are very happy. The service was professional, fast and clean. The door opens and closes so quietly now the my cats don't know when I get home. We are very happy with Alcosta Overhead Door.

Description of Work: I purchased the garage door tuneup deal. After several days, Angie's List CS sent an email asking if I had heard from Alcosta and should have by now. I called the provider, advised that I had purchased a deal and suggested service dates, but hadn't received a reply. They apologized and set up an appointment for the next day. No show, no call. Alcosta called the following day, again apologized - a mixup in their scheduling. Offered to come out the following day. Service guy arrived at the end of the day, looked at the garage, said he did not have the rollers needed for my garage and would need to come back. He did not perform any of the of the other services included in the Angie's List deal. The following day no, show, no call. I have wasted at least three days with Alcosta. Their service follow-up is atrocious with little regard for the value of their customer's time.
