No hassles, all went smooth, he explained why and what he was doing. He was very professional

They were great. They came out the same day, they were quick and the technician had a great personality.

They arrived right on time, and went to work describing why the garage door wasn't working. You didn't have to be an engineer to understand what they were saying. They gave me a price for the work, which based on other work I had done on these doors, was more than fair. They had all the parts needed on their truck, so got right to work making the repair. A few weeks later the garage door wouldn't close unless I held the button on the keypad down. They came out promptly and ordered a new part. They said they had never seen this particular part fail. When the part came in they called me and setup an appointment. They were here on time, fixed the garage door, and of course didn't charge me.

They did a good job. They came out and did the tune-up and gave us recommendations. The problem was we thought we contracted with them to come and do more work, but they never showed up and did not return our calls and e-mails. So I don't know what happened. The work they did under the deal was fine, but then we asked them to put in a new opener and do some other work and we agreed to do that and they never followed up. They work they did was great. They did what they said they were going to do and they came when they said they would.

I called at 8:30 AM for someone to come out and fix the door and Roger arrived at 9:15AM. I could not have expected any more responsiveness than that. He pointed out that my openers are aged, but did not try to oversell me on new ones. He thinks I can get a couple of more years on the ones that I have. When the time comes to replace them, I will call him back.

Good honest company. I did not need to replace my roller in the garage door.

AWFUL. I NOW SEE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY FROM THE SERVICE MAN NAMED MARK WITH THE 408 AREA CODE . 1. Took three calls to him to set up the appointment. 2. He was more than two hours late, with all kinds of excuses including asking for my address again. 3. After waiting as long as I could I called him and cancelled the appointment, and put everything back in the garage. . As I was finishing up he arrived and proceeded to cuss me out and go in to a fit of rage. Yelling and pacing around like a crazed person, screaming the f word at me. When he finally realized I was not going to let him work here he got in his truck to leave and backed up and screeched out of here. I would advise everyone to not deal with this man he is unstable and could be a threat to anyone. I was too upset to keep my other appointment that day and agreed to let the manager come out and do the work. TAKE THIS REVIEW AS YOU LIKE BUT BE CAREFUL WHO COMES TO YOUR HOUSE.

The new rollers were a big improvement in the smooth operation and reduced noise of door operation. Unfortunately, the adjustment to stop the door from going back up after closing did not solve the problem. Within a few months, the door is again having this problem

I scheduled an appt and was glad to get one on a saturday. The tech called and said he was running about 25mins late which rated high in my book vs wondering where he was at. He explained what he was doing as he changed out the rollers and sprayed lubed where required. The rollers where definately worn out, so I was glad I had the service done. I asked questions about the door construction and type of rollers and he was very knowledgeable. It only took about 20mins at the most to complete the service.

Alcosta Overhead Door has serviced the garage door a number of times over more than ten years. The serviceman has called to let me know when he was arriving and has always done a quality job. He also lubricated the rollers and springs which made the door run more smoothly.

Mark showed right on time and went right to work on the replacing the rollers. I had a few missing ones and he also showed me how worn down the old ones were. He then went to tighten all the hinges and checked the overall operation of the door. When he was finished, the door opened and closed just like new! He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable.

It went very well. The workers were there when they said they would be. They called to give us an ETA. The job was done very well and in a timely manner. They cleaned up. We got a new garage door opener and then we had to replace the rusted rollers and spring. We put in that order got an Angies list discount and they were back a day later to finish the job. Again they were on time, called before they arrived so we would know when to expect them Our original garage door opener was 24 years old so it was time to replace the whole thing. We are very happy with the new opener and the service provided by Alcosta. I would definitely recommend this company.

Everything that was listed on the ad was done. I thought he was very knowledgable and was willing to explain everything he was doing. I am happy with the work and would recommend them to my family and friends. The only reason I did not give him an A on responsiveness is because they did not return my call as quickly as they said they would after purchasing from Angie's List. I quess they had a lot of people purchase the same deal I had purchased.

I was very pleased with the quality of Alcosta's work and the courteousness of the employee who came to my home. He was very tidy and explained to me what needed to be done - in addition to the Big Deal inspection and roller replacement - and did not pressure me to add services. The spring replacement was necessary given the age of my garage and the sound it was making. I will contact them again - sooner than 16 years! - for a garage door tune up.
