Dan's Air Duct Cleaning

During the process of cleaning the ducts there equipment became snagged. While trying to free the device they found that there was a separation of the ductwork under the house. While they continued their work. I went to the hardware store and bought some aluminum duct tape so that I could address the issue. They told me that since they had to go under the house to address their snagged equipment. That they would wrap the separation for me. That was actions far above what they were contracted to do. This is emblematic of a Company that believes in SERVICE to the customer. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

It went very smooth from start to finish. They were very busy to schedule the initial appointment because of the angies list offer. When they arrived it took longer than anticipated but they very courteous and friendly.

Work was done quickly and in a professional manner. Glad we did it, as the ducts needed cleaning after we moved in.

The work was professionally performed. I would use him again.

I like the way they performed their duties, they were very careful. I would recommend them to others, and I will probably have them back out in another year!

There were 2 people that came to the house with all the proper tools and proceedures to perform duct cleaning. Once completed, all the registers were replaced and any mess was cleaned up before leaving.

I can't recall the exact amount we spent. It was an Angie's List deal. These people were very business like, efficient and helpful. They were in an out quickly and caused minimal disruption in our home. Also probably prevented a dryer fire by cleaning out the dryer vent and finding a huge amount of lint that had accumulated in a giant ball.I can't thank them enough for their wonderful service.

It was not noticeable enough to get excited about. IT\t wasn't a bad job, just nothing special.

I really liked them. They came out on time and they were quite responsive. Their pricing was reasonable. They were quite professional, they knew what they were doing.

They cleaned the air duct, but they used a big machine that could cause floor or wall damage.

They came out and cleaned everything. The first day they did not have the right brush, so they had to come back. At the end of the cleaning they asked for money, $20 for gas. The worker said it was because they had to drive so far.

Dan and his assistant were quick and efficient. They were in and out of there in an hour or so. Friendly to our dog as well.

Arrived on time in bad weather - cleaned all the ducts and cleaned around each area after finishing each duct. Was very fast. Also cleaned the intake vent and the dryer vent. Left the house in the exact condition as he arrived. Would recommend to friend. The coupon needs to show the $ 20. 00 travel time outside his area.

The company came in and did the work, and I am not sure of the quality since I had never had this service done for my home before. The work seems like they did a fine job, but the service took less than a half hour. They did clean each one separately, taping off the vents to prevent a mess. So it appeared as if it was done correctly. Once I got the bill there was an additional $20 charge I did not remember being told about so I called the company to ask about the charge. I spoke with the owner, who was not the one to do the work. He was both very rude and aggressive. He was not at all pleasant to talk to. I believe the work was fine, but the his behavior leads me to say that I would not use this company again.

Took weeks to book the appointment, and when they finally arrived, were late and had the wrong address!!!! Came unprepared and left. Called to tell them not to return. Did not want them in my home and was willing to eat the 250.00!

They contact pre-visit was great. The guys arrived early the day of service. There was an additional "milage" charge of $20 that I don't remember discussing when I scheduled the appointment but that was ok. The guys were great, but they were clearly overworked. One of the team members had just come off of an overnight shift for a commercial project and was beat. They were very nice, but the equipment was older and they chipped a lot of the paint around some of the vents they worked on - not a huge deal, but we had this service completed a few years ago without the chips. They did replace my master filter and the guys were really friendly and offered to help where they could. The guys did a great job on the dryer vents - really got in there and cleaned it by hand when their machine couldn't reach all of the areas. I paid the "milage" charge in cash and was surprised when I received a call a few days later to ask if / how I had paid the charge. I think this is a small private company (their van was a U-haul van) that works hard and is probably hit a bit with the changing economy. The work product is good - not great. But overall, I was satisfied with the service.

The original date of service was supposed to be Friday, Feb. 3rd but the technician arrived and said my home was too big for one service provider to accomplish. I re-scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18th at 9 am and at 9:18 Dan called and said he was on his way and was just "coming up the hill" to my home which implied he was less than 1 minute away. At 9:48 he still had not arrived so I called him back and was told by a woman who answered the phone that they were "leaving soon". I do not know from where they were leaving. This job was supposed to take 4 hours and because they were now almost an hour late and had still not arrived I stated that we had run out of time to have this service done. The woman told me not to worry; they would get the job done in 3 hours. She was very persistent in wanting to do the job. I was not willing to compromise the quality of service because of their poor timing. I also do not appreciate being lied to regarding their initial where abouts when Dan called at 9:18 to say he was just "coming up the hill". I feel as though a business owner who displays this degree of disrespect for the customer is unlikely to treat my home and the service they are providing for my home with the appropriate care and respect.

It went very well. They were prompt, on time, got the job done, and we're pretty happy with it.

I've lived in my home for over 20 years and have never had my heating system cleaned and my dryer vent has only been cleaned twice. Even if my heating vents were not that dirty, I knew my dryer vent needed looking after. The technicians arrived on time and were very professional. After cleaning my vents they tackeled my dryer vent. After sucking out as much lint as they could through the vent opening behind my dryer, the vent was acting like it was colgged. Apperiently the line was so full of lint that the brush pushed a mass of lint into the exhaust opening on the roof where it became stuck. The technicial ended up going up on my roof and removing the cap off of the dryer vent and pulling a large mass of lint out by hand. After seeing how much lint was in my vent line, I'm amazed my dryer even worked. The vent is now clean and working well.
