Description of Work: I was so hopeful about him after reading all the positive reviews but ended up very disappointed. I called twice and emailed twice and did not receive a response by either method. I understand that people can get quite busy but a simple one minute phone call or email reply letting a potential customer know that he simply cannot take on any more work is not asking too much and is just common courtesy. |

Description of Work: Shimmed and drywalled garage. Went perfectly.

Description of Work: I called Al, to "fix" a drywall issue caused by a "friend". My "friend" attempted to mud and texture my kitchen ceiling, and caused quite a mess. I called Al to see if he could resolve the situation. | |Al was prompt, and said he could resolve the problem and provided an immediate reasonable estimate. Al was friendly, efficient and did a great job. I would use him again. |

Description of Work: Installed closet organizer system

Description of Work: My wife and I met Al approximately 10 years ago when he we renovating another home in our neighborhood. In the time since, he has renovated our entire house, inside and out, one project at a time. The jobs he's done for us include, - He rebuilt our entire kitchen by taking it all the way down to bare studs. He installed new kitchen cabinets, tile counter tops, tile floor, new ceiling with recessed lighting, new plumbing, sink, under cabinet lighting, all electrical and all new appliances. - He rebuilt both of our bathrooms including new tile, vanities, new tub, plumbing fixtures, recessed ceiling lights and all painting. - He redid the ceilings in our entire house, removing the old popcorn and replacing it all with new texture and paint. - He installed new six-panel doors and wide baseboards throughout our house and also installed crown molding in our living and dining room, all painted. - He renovated our old red brick fireplace with cement board faced with tile, topped off with a custom mantle he built himself. - He replaced all our windows with energy efficient, dual pane windows. He also installed a four panel Andersen slider, back door/window combination that goes from our living room out to our patio. - Over time he has repainted every room and hallway in our house. - Outdoors he has painted our entire house, built a custom arbor over our back patio, painted a section of sidewalk with epoxy paint and built some custom fencing in our front yard. In addition to all those major projects, he's also done a number of small, half day kind of projects like one he is doing right now, the resurfacing of a small section of ceiling where we've allowed hot shower steam to do some minor ceiling damage over several years.
