The tree was dismantled perfectly and removed according to the agreement. Tree limbs and debris were all carted away from the site on a hillside. This was not an easy removal but Treemasters did a perfect job. Highly recommended.

Treemasters was excellent in all aspects, from the original visit for the estimate to the completion of the work! I had one other estimate from another highly recommended tree service for the work. Treemasters' estimate was 1/3 less than the other company (same scope of work). I was at work when they arrived ~9:00 AM to begin the tree work. I stopped by late morning to check on the progress to find the Ash tree already completely gone and chipped, the stump cut back as far as possible while not harming a close stone retaining wall, and several crew already working on the huge Pine in the backyard. Work on the Pine was not an easy task, as it is on a steep slope and over my garage. Also, they had nicely coned off the street around their work area and didn't impede traffic on the street at all. They did a fantastic job on the Ash and the Pine and an equally fantastic job on cleaning up the yard/street. And they were done and gone by 4:00 PM. Of special note, they correctly placed a fallen squirrel's nest (with babies inside) in the yard near the Ash stump and then stayed away from the immediate area, which allowed the mother to retrieve each of her offspring and move them to another tree nearby. The Treemasters crew was genuinely concerned about the squirrel mother/babies and we were all very happy that the mother safely retrieved her family.

We usually use Treemasters for very large tree projects (removing 10 whole Cypress trees, removing a dead pine from a steep slope, taking large limbs out of a huge pine that hovers over power lines, etc.), but this time it was stump grinding. The worker was alone and fairly new at it, and the equipment handled the job in a tight access setting to about 80% complete. The cost seemed very fair, and they give a 15-20% discount for repeat customers. Their bidder, David Hill, is very knowledgable and gives a very complete estimate, including photos, before even leaving the property, so there is no waiting for something in the mail or email. We still needed other power and hand tool efforts to remove enough of the stumps to put in a small retaining wall. In the end, I don't know if going the route of this tractor driven rotating arm was the right choice for the job.

This arborist provided excellent service right from the bidding process, documentation and execution. They hauled the cut tree up a steep slope, chipped the parts that could be chipped and disposed of the larger pieces properly cleaning up after themselves. The crew was professional and knew what they were doing as the tree was very close to the house. I highly recommend this arborist for any job you are considering.

This was a good experience. The initial call scheduled the visit for the estimate. Great follow up by phone and email. An arborist shows up and walks the job. He then took photos and completed an estimate on the spot, complete with print out of the photos. The result is a clear understanding of the work and the price. Very comprehensive and broken down into parts with associated cost. We reviewed the estimate against the one other we received, changed the scope of work a bit, agreed on the changed price all by phone. Because of the detail in the proposal, this was easy. We chose Treemasters, signed the proposal and sent back a cell phone photo of the signed proposal to seal the deal. We then received a date for the work to be performed. A few weeks out to be sure (I recall 5 weeks). On the date, a crew of 2 showed up and did the job. They consulted with us the whole way and went back up to catch a few limbs we agreed needed more work. Very communicative. Very safe and careful. And very knowledgeable. There were cars on the street under 2 trees, so we agreed these could not be trimmed. The price was readily changed, again, due to the detailed proposal. I recommend Treemasters.

Arborist came on on 1/24 to evaluate our request and give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. The workers came on 1/28 to do the work. Was completed in less than 3 hours. Crew of 4 were very efficient, cleaned up everything. We were very pleased with the outcome. They are all very professional and pleasant. Have used their services 2 other times and have always been pleased with the experience.

Everything starting from the estimator to clean up was professional. The price was right.

We cannot recommend this company highly enough. After a disappointing response from a different company I called Treemasters and they came the next day, took photos, printed up an estimate and completed the work with two days. They are absolutely the best and we will never use anyone else.

I must say, I don't understand why all companies don't operate with this level of professionalism. We have a large Monterey Pine in our backyard that is mostly OK but had a lot of dead limbs. We had 4 different companies come look at it and Treemasters was the only one that actually gave us a written estimate immediately. Only one other company even gave us the written estimate (despite promises to send or email) and it arrived 2 weeks after. Is it that hard? The Treemasters arborist printed out the estimate from his vehicle, included all his insurance and license information, seemed the most knowledgable, and offered 2 options for service. Their price for trimming the tree was very competitive, in fact if I recall it was actually the lowest. Their option for full tree removal was the highest price we were offered but we decided not to go that route anyway. It was an expensive option because the tree is in an area inaccessible to trucks and heavy equipment. They are obviously a very busy company and at first we were disappointed because when we called to confirm, their first available date was about seven weeks out. We opted to wait anyway and they handled it well and put us on the cancellation list. Luckily they ended up having a cancellation and they were able to take care of it about 3 weeks after we called. All their dealings over the phone and through email were professional and they always responded promptly when we contacted them. 4 guys showed up right on time during a big rainstorm and had no problem climbing all over the tree cutting down the dead limbs. They hand-carried all the wood (some very large pieces!) out to the street and even covered the side of the house with tarps to avoid damaging the gas meter and stucco. They also did a very thorough job of raking up the small debris from the back yard. I think the back yard, walkway, and driveway were actually cleaner than when they started. The job took about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. Our job was not very big or complicated, but it's very refreshing to see a large busy company still be able to handle smaller jobs like this with a high level of professionalism and quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

From the first meeting with the arborist, Mike Queirolo, in April to the actual job in early June, this company was extremely professional and great with communication. The arborist gave us a detailed review of his findings and recommendations with our problematic, although beautiful, trees that had gone years without maintenance before we moved in a year ago. He talked about percentage to remove to keep the trees healthy without overstimulating their growth. He took photographs, marking cuts, and said his approach would be clearly communicated to the foreman and work crew assigned to our job the day it would occur. He actually created and printed out a a detailed proposal/quote from the back of his truck at the end of the estimating visit - very efficient! We had 3 other bids for this work, and theirs was in line with 2 of those and half of another one. We liked their plan and gave them the job in June; most follow-up communication was by email, which was easy. The crew of 4-5 men arrived early and swung through the trees all day long removing and shaping tree limbs, small branches, etc. Great clean-up of the hundreds of pieces at the end. The trees looked *beautiful* when they were done, and seem a great deal healthier; three months later, they look even better (and no longer drop the many small branches that used to rain down on us on the patio). They did a good job removing the bamboo forest in our lower lot, but we wish they had gone ahead an used Roundup or other herbicide since we are batting regrowth frequently; this was a decision taken to reduce impact on the neighbor' bamboo. One other thing that would have been helpful is to provide advice on when we need to file for a tree-trimming permit with the city; our trees were really big enough around (> 22" diameter) that we should have done this, but an inspector who stopped by (in response to a neighbor's inquiry) said the job was fine and needed.

They were responsive to my call. They came and gave me an estimate. They were knowledgeable and came when they said they would. They did all the things that they said they would. They removed everything that they cut down. They were very clean and neat.

They went out the day after we contacted them and responded by e-mail that evening. They were able to fit us in, before they were scheduled, due to a concellation. The neigbors have commented about the good quality of the work. We were pleased with their responsiveness and professsionalism.

I had a good experience with them. A representative from the company came out first. They cleaned up well. Their bid was slightly less than some of the other companies and was the best compared to the 3 companies that had come out for an estimate. I don?t know anyone who is better than them. The quality of their work was good. I would certainly contact them again.

When I called Treemasters, I was given an appointment with an arborist. The arborist arrived on time the day of the scheduled appointment, reviewed the situation and provided me with a written estimate. When I decided to use Treemasters for the job, I was given an appointment within a week. The workers arrived on time, set up tarps to protect my house, and worked very diligently, doing the work as agreed upon. The workers were courteous and professional. After completing the tree removal and trimming, they completely cleaned up my yard and any debris that had fallen into my neighbors' yards. They finished the work in one day.

I have never hired anyone who treated me with less respect......they were hired to trim some trees blocking my view at my expense but worked closely with the condo association who decided how much and when the work would be done.....delay was 4 months from the time I first contacted them......I was forced to deal with them by the condo association who hires then for other work ..... I own a home ,am not part of the condo association ...I think they should have let me know they had a conflict of interest ......so even though I paid them they really worked for the condo association......and did not completely restore my view......

They were prompt. They did a great job. They were very professional. They cleaned up very well after the job and were careful in removing the trees.

He is an arborist and he came with a great team of help. They did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable.

He was reliable, and he wasn't late. He did a fine job, and he cleaned everything up, and hauled away all the trash. I rate him pretty high. I'm sure I'll use him again some day. I do recommend him, and he seemed professional.

I had a good experience with this company, and have had work done by them in the past. They took down a large tree, and cleaned up everything. I have used them about 3 other times in the past. They have decent prices, and I will continue to use them.
