+ -1 moreThe job went smoothly. My husband and I removed most of the furnishings (hamper, a dresser, drying racks, etc.) before the installers arrived. They were prompt, conscientious about not scratching walls, etc., and neat. The worst part was the removal of the old flooring as it was a noisy and messy process. They had it out fairly quickly, and had prepared the subflooring by noon, and went to lunch while it dried. When they returned, they cut and installed the new flooring, reinstalled the toilets and made sure the windows were open to thoroughly vent the smell of the vinyl and adhesive. They were done by 2:00 PM and left both rooms clean and ready to use.
Description of Work: I needed to replace the flooring in two bathroms. I initially was going to redo only one room at a time, but Laura, the sales person suggested I do both at the same time to economize on the labor charges, since there is a minimum charge per job. Laura is very knowlegeable about flooring and was quickly able to steer me to appropriate choices. My most important issues were washability, durability, slip-resistance, cost and appearance. We quickly narrowed the choices down to three. She provided samples for me to take home, and was quick to respond when I called for additional information and samples. The entire project was completed within one week from the initial contact to installation, cleanup and disposal of the old flooring.

+ -1 moreI went to the store and chose flooring. Nick Tarasoff came to my office to measure for estimate. Never received the estimate. Called to check. Was told that he had been busy, but would get estimate to me. Never, ever called me again. Seemed to not want to do the job, but was to cowardly to say outright.
Description of Work: Came to my office for estimate for new floor. Never gave estimate or responded to phone calls.
