Thought the price was cheap compared with other quotes. On time; responsive to calls. They found the exact carpet we wanted to match from a previous job by another company who was pricier by nearly 2x for this job. Installation crew was a little sloppy so we had lots of dings to repair in the molding and clean up some glue, but they did the job itself efficiently and the result is nice.
Description of Work: Two rooms carpeted (over concrete floor), hallway done in engineered wood. We also bought extra high-end padding we put under some oriental rugs.

After talking to the company rep about materials and installation, I provided my credit card # so that materials could be ordered. Without my knowledge or approval, $1450 was charged to my card; no product had been received by me nor had I been given an estimate of any charges. I did not sign a contract and no contract was sent to me. When I called to object, I was told that there would be no refund; after much argument, I agreed to $900 and the installation. After another 2 weeks the installation was scheduled. The work quality is sub-standard and has required that I hire another contractor, at tremendous expense, to attempt to alter the situation - removing the treads is not an option since the glue has set and removable would cause great damage to the wood.
Description of Work: Rubber stair treads were installed over existing wooden stairs. The quality of installation was very poor; the installer did not know how to rectify the poor installation and refused to remove the treads when I requested he do so. He contacted the "big boss" (owner) who, upon arriving at my home, said there was nothing he could do and it was "just too bad." He yelled at me and refused to respond to my requests that he remedy the situation before the glue fully set. When I stood in his path as he was leaving and asked what he intended to do, he said he would refund my money when he returned to his office; he also told the installer that he was not to remove the treads. I have not received a refund.
