We were fortuitously assigned to our realtor, Lea Kuehnhackl, by Marin Modern's website. How lucky we were! Lea has single-handedly restored my respect for the real estate profession with her integrity, consummate professionalism and single-minded focus on protecting her clients' interests. My spouse is a lawyer and, after my experience buying my primary residence several years ago, I'd started to feel about most realtors the way most people feel about lawyers (that they're in it just to make a quick buck off of our clients). My impression was that most agents would like to see you buy the first thing that came along, even if it wasn't right for you. That could not be farther from the truth with respect to Lea. We never doubted for a second that she put our (and our dog's) interests and long-term happiness ahead of everything else, including the opportunity for a quicker or larger commission. Our search was not an easy one, spanning three counties and ranging from new construction, to "project" homes, to raw land. In short, we were demanding and fickle (not a great combination in clients). Yet Lea always made us feel like we were her most important clients and approached every opportunity with enthusiasm, even when they led us down rabbit holes. As residents of San Francisco, we probably never would have explored countless communities if it weren't for Lea's extensive knowledge of the entire North Bay area. She is also hard-working, showing no unwillingness to hike through thigh-high weeds up roads that our car wouldn't go. She listened attentively and provided her honest, unvarnished assessment, ultimately guiding us to a better understanding of what we wanted out of a second home. Beyond her responsiveness, intelligence, diligence and attention to detail, Lea is an absolute delight to deal with, even in stressful situations. There simply was no one else whom we would have rather had at out side throughout all the highs and lows of our six-month search. And at the end, we simply couldn't be happier with the end result. For all these reasons, we wholeheartedly recommend Lea Kuehnhackl and Marin Modern to anyone interested in property in the North Bay.

Renee was the name of the real estate agent. She was good and very knowledgeable in the area that she represents. She was very thorough, personable and easy to work with. Their price was standard rate.
