+ -1 moreThe work was accomplished on time and within the estimated budget. The work required appropriate scheduling in order for all parts and equipment to be available at the time the work was done. I have found Herb's personnel to be friendly, competent and reliable. In addition to using Herb's for special projects, I have used them for regular weekly pool and spa services for over 20 years.
Description of Work: Repaired leaks in spa plumbing which required significant challenges and creative solutions. Replaced swimming pool pump with multi-speed low energy unit. Installed new electronic controls. Repaired a spa heater which I thought would have to be replaced and fine tuned the solar system.

+ -1 moreThis is my first review of any service provider, but except for Comcast, I've never been so frustrated with a service provider.
Description of Work: I would not recommend, nor will I use, this company for spa repair again.My tub is older, but a very popular model that the tech said he "works on all the time."After three weeks of waiting tor an initial service call, the actual repairs began. From there it was wrong parts, parts shipped to wrong place... During the months-long ordeal, I had to initiate the status reports and pressure for appointtments. Even the billing was snfu. .Nice folks and apologetic, but marginally compentent and far from what I expect from a service vendor.

+ -1 moreThey gave me an estimate to repair a look in the people. The estimate was around 1300. I did some shopping around and another company stated they would be able to do the work for about half. I contacted Herb's and explained that I found another company that can do the same job for little less than half the cost they estimated. The person I spoke with stated that we are the biggest, the best, and "we can charge what we want". I canceled service immediately. I found this unbelieveable. I canceled service because of the high quote and the attitude of the representatives.
