+ -1 moreWe were happy with the results for about two years. Then it was more obvious that some plants weren't making it because they were not well suited for the site. Conversely, there were some plants that obviously had no room to mature in our smallish garden space, so they had to be torn out. Heather was nice and polite but didn't show up at our job site daily to oversee her sub-contractor, so she was left to explain, after-the-fact, why certain things got done differently than she designed. But overall, the garden space looks greener and works better. We've received many compliments from our neighbors.
Description of Work: Work done for our small garden in 2002: all landscape design, terrace rocky steep hillside, build fence along steep hillside, resurface patio with flagstone, build pergola over patio, install landscape lighting, cut concrete in sidewalk for a street tree, cut concrete in front of house and build 2 brick planter boxes. All new plantings throughout.
