Bay Alarm

The estimator was really nice and spent time at our property, with some good suggestions. However, I began questioning the suggested positioning of some of the motion sensors and the reasoning behind leaving out certain window sensors from the system. My intuition was spot-on...another provider ultimately solved the sensor positioning problem in such a way that all windows/doors are covered when we're home asleep and the motion detectors provide full coverage while we're away. This company seems to be positioning themselves as a more premium service than some of the national providers, but it's so difficult to compare everyone on a level playing field (even here on Angie's List). Judging by the web chatter, there are just as many people who've had great results with this company as there are those who have had complaints of one sort or another. I probably would have used them but could not justify the cost when other services offered lower pricing (less than half the cost of install and slightly less for monitoring) and longer-term service guarantees on the equipment.

They are terribly expensive for doing absolutely nothing. They are not very prompt. We got rid of the door alarm after it went off several times and no one responded. They said they sent the message to the sheriff's department, but nothing was done. I have spoken to an employee about having the cost lowered and they said they would be able to work with me on that but 2 months later I have still not heard back from them.
