I scheduled an inspection and Julio arrived on time. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He recognized the antique breakers in the panel and agreed with me that they are now not obtainable. I had tried to replace an arching one a few years ago and finally found a breaker in someone's "joy box" of parts. But, now it started arching, too. So, Julio knew a replacement brand, which he said made breakers with better contacts than the originals and which would fit the bus bars in the panel. That was good news because replacing the whole panel would be a major job. I got an estimate and scheduled the job. Again, Julio came on time with all his tools and the new breakers. He took care of the installation in a timely fashion and answered my questions. A very pleasant experience!

The home insurance company first sent out a different company (PLATINUM CONTRACTOR INCORPORATED). This guy just came out with a screwdriver in his pocket and unscrewed the door bell. The wire was not attached to the button, so he assumed that someone must have disconnected it. I had just moved into the house, so I'm not sure if this is what happened. He looked inside the garage where the doorbell wire ran, but didn't find anything. Since he thought the wire was disconnected, it wasn't covered under the warranty, and recommended we buy a wireless doorbell and then left. I found out that the door bell was never disconnected. Call the insurance company again, this time they sent Lite House Electric. These guys were much more professional. Looked like an actual repair man, coming to my door with a full tool belt and ladder. He inspected the door bell, and also looked inside the garage (same place as previous repairman). Only this time the Lite House tech was able to find the door bell wire. He reconnected it. There was a problem with how the door bell was sounding. He went to the where the chime was located inside the house and made some fixes so that it worked properly. Overall I am very happy with the work that Lite House did. They fixed a problem that another service provider was not able to fix.
