I had expected the monthly charge to be 50% of what I had been paying, instead it was 60% of what I was paying. From my perspective, the front and back yard maintenance is about the same. I eventually stopped service because I was not happy with this fee arrangement. It was very difficult to discuss billing with the person who works in the office. Payments are made only by mail, which was extremely difficult for me as I routinely pay all my bills online. I also could not pay by check at the time of service. It was mandatory I mailed the payment.

My front lawn, tree and berry bush had grown "wild" due to the recent rains and were in bad need of mowing and trim. Alvarez Bros. did a excellent job in getting the front lawn to look "normal" again, trimmed the tree(they actually had to use a ladder for the job) and the berry bush.They did a wonderful job of cleaning up all of the debris from the lawn and they even cleared away weeds from my parking space in front of the house! Now when I look out of my window a huge smile comes across my face because the front of the house looks so good! This gardening company is professional and reasonable. They call you before coming to confirm the date of service. I did not mind paying the first time fee of $100.00 because other gardening services where much higher. Now Alvarez Bros will take care of my gardening needs on a monthly basis. In the near future, I will have them install a watering system for me.
