I was impressed with her rates and all that was included that you pay extra with anyone else. She was able to give me a start date right then and there. I am looking forward to using this service.

We haven't had a housekeeper in a few years, and the top-to-bottom cleaning was wonderful - everywhere I look, it sparkles! I don't have any complaints at all! The regular monthly cleaning will be less as there won't be so much to clean - I'm SO looking forward to that help!

 + -1 moreI have had the same experience as a couple of other reviewers on here: Crystal is very inconsistent with responsiveness. In January when I needed her to come out and clean, it took a couple of days to hear back from her. She told me she was just coming back from a vacation and would contact me the following day. She didn't contact me until at least two days after that initial message. I did end up getting on her schedule and she came out with one other woman at the appointment time. Now fast forward to September and I have tried to hire Crystal again. It took about five days to hear back from her and she mentioned wi-fi issues and not receiving my email until much later than sent. I emailed her back and still haven't heard from her. A phone call would have been nice if wi-fi is not cooperating.
Description of Work: Did a move-in clean on my home and adjacent small apartment.

 + -1 moreUPDATE: Received a call a few days after our initial scheduled appointment on August 6th. There were extenuating circumstances as to why they did not arrive on the scheduled date. Crystal apologized for not making the original appointment. We decided to give it another try. I appreciated the fact that they contacted me to explain the missed appointment. They arrived on schedule and worked diligently to clean the entire house in a very short amount of time. They did an excellent job and I now understand the very positive reviews. We are very pleased with the job they did and will be using them on a regular basis in the future. PREVIOUS COMMENTS: Picked this company because of the good reviews on Angie's List. I was very dissapointed! They were supposed to come on August 6th to give my house a thorough cleaning and then we would schedule for every two weeks. They never showed up. I called and left a message an hour after the scheduled time to let them know they missed the appointment. Called several more times during the day. Never heard back from them on August 6th or the next morning. I would understand if something unexpected came up but would have appreciated a call to let me know.
Description of Work: Called her to come and give my house a good cleaning and then would schedule them for a regular cleaning every two weeks. We scheduled cleaning for August 13th.

 + -1 moreTheir responsiveness was very poor. I have no idea how well they clean, but I won't call them again.
Description of Work: I had to call this company 3 times; they never called back. When I was finally able to reach them, they didn't seem interested in coming to my home. Perhaps I live too far from them, but had they returned my call in the first place, I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to reach them. I also felt the prices they quoted were higher for the work needed & for the norm in SLO.

 + -1 moreI spoke with them on the phone. They were dismayed that Angie's List had not updated their information from a couple of years ago. They used to serve my area. They no longer serve south county and said they had notified Angie's List of the change. I was very disappointed.
Description of Work: I could NOT use this service because they do NOT serve my area (Arroyo Grande, South San Luis Obispo County), despite them being one of the recommended providers in my area. They sound like a wonderful service I was sorry I couldn't try them.

 + -1 moreWow. We moved in about a month ago and we are home 95% of the time with our three furkids, so there was about a month's worth of dust and dirt to clean. Crystal and Wendy's petite stature belied their ability to tear through my house in less than two hours and leave it clean, shiny and spotless. When they were finished, my house looked like pets don't live there, and, more importantly itSMELLED like pets don't live there. Added bonus: they were very sweet to my babies, two Dobermans and a very curious little Siamese cat. My jaw dropped when Ms. Crystal charged me only $85. I come from the Bay Area, so maybe I'm used to a different pay scale, but whatever the price, I was very, very impressed with the results. Crystal is indeed an expert at what she does, and she does it quickly and quietly, another bonus since my boyfriend and I work from home. I am very happy to have found her on Angie's List and I will definitely use her services again.

Description of Work: Crystal and one employee come and clean our two story, 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 3000sq foot house every other week. Her rates, I feel are extremely cheap, and the quality and professionalism of her work I feel is exceptional!! I REALLY appreciate that each time she comes she listens to the specific needs I have and does them happily and thoroughly. For example, one week I might want her to wipe down our dining chairs, and another week I may want her to vacuum our couch. She charges by the hour, and I'm always astounded by how quickly, yet carefully and thoroughly she cleans our home. Our house is HUGE--and she cleans it top to bottom for typically not more than $85.!!! Mind you, we are VERY clean people, which is why we can get away with having her come every other week--but still this seems extremely reasonable to me!! She has also gladly come with her carpet cleaner and spot cleaned our carpets where our dog had had an accident when we left her inside too long : ( and even juice spills in the family room we couldn't get out. The other thing I appreciate is that she has all her own cleaning supplies, but she was happy to meet our individual needs. For example, the smell of regular floor cleaner is too strong for my allergies, so I showed her where I keep my floor cleaner--which she happily used each time there after without me ever having to remind her. And I have an awesome vacuum that has a hepa filter on it for my allergies which she is happy to use, and EMPTY--thank you very much!!--each time. Crystal has also always been prompt to return all phone calls and emails and is very flexible to fit our schedule as needed. I feel like I've struck a gold mine; she really is the BEST of the BEST!!!

 + 2 moreHer name is Crystal Lara and she is just as good today as she was a year and a half ago when I found her on Angie's List. You don't find that with cleaning people very often. I pay her when she comes. You don't have to tell her what to do and she just finds things to do. I very rarely have to ask her to do something.

 + -1 moreThe owner is very friendly and seemed to understand my needs. I used her twice hoping that after a discussion regarding their first attempt, things would improve. I didn't. I had to do at least as much work on my home once I came home after a long day as they had. They totally missed the obvious and I was left feeling like the cleaning of my home was an afterthought. My home didn't even smell clean. I was left feeling like they did the least possible to just get by.

She does the normal stuff. She does stuff on her own and I don't have to ask her anything. There are always two people who come out. She is very trustworthy and I trust her. She is a great person and she is efficient. If you want something then maybe you can add it to the list and she will do it.

 + -1 moreI had been having the hardest time trying to find a reliable housecleaner, which is why I joined Angie's List. CC Lightening was in my area and had received positive reviews, so I decided to give them a try. Crystal, the owner, has been amazing. Her initial visit was for a deep cleaning, which cost us $160 and was totally worth it. I've been using her every 3 weeks for the past few months and she has been extremely reliable, professional, efficient, friendly and easy to get in contact with. She has also proven to be a really trustworthy person to work with, as she (of her own accord) actually lowered our rate when she realized that it was taking less time than she had originally thought. I have two young children in the house and Crystal is incredibly sweet with them, which I really appreciate. She has always done a wonderful job for us and I am so happy to have found her!
Description of Work: Initial "deep cleaning" followed by basic housecleaning every 3 weeks.
