TREESCAPE

Bill at Treescape seemed great at first. He was punctual for the meeting when he did the estimate, and did the work within a few weeks of being hired. But the day they were supposed to show up, no one arrived. I called and they said there was scheduling confusion so they came the following day. Bill did not come with the crew - it was his nephew. They were supposed to bring down a very large fir tree, which they did. Then as they took the fir tree out, they totally cracked up the driveway with machinery. They were supposed to leave the chips behind, but when I asked about that, the lead tree guy said that the chipper wouldn't fit down our driveway (interesting, because other tree people have managed to get a chipper down our driveway just fine). So instead of leaving the chips as requested, he took them out. They were also supposed to move several old logs from the yard, and while they started the process, at some point, the guy decided that it was too much work and just stopped.

His estimate was the highest of the three I received so I chose another company. He was easy to contact and came for the estimate at the agreed upon time.

THIS SEEMS TO BE A ONE-MAN COMPANY THAT I DEAL WITH MOSTLY ON THE PHONE. I GIVE HIM A CALL & HE LETS ME KNOW HE'LL COME BY. HE'LL LOOK AT THE JOB, GIVE A VERY REASONABLE PRICE, I'LL LEAVE THE MONEY FOR HIM, & HE WILL COME BY TO DO THE WORK. HE IS ALWAYS DEPENDABLE & DOES A THOROUGH JOB. HE NEVER FORGETS TO ASK IF I WANT THE MULCH FROM THE TREES/STUMPS BEING REMOVED.
