The Gutterbusters

At the time of service, things seemed fine. Upon inspection by our regular contractor, many roof shingles were found to be loosened during gutter instillation that were never re-affixed. So... we ended up paying more for someone else to finish Gutterbusters' job.

The job was done on the specified day and went well.

Steve is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and professional. He came to evaluate what needed to be done while I was at work one day (he called prior to coming to check if that was okay). Based on what he saw from the ground he gave me a quote for $400. He came by on a Saturday to get the work done. In spite of some extra things that needed to get done (there were a couple downspouts that were plugged that needed serious repair) and some extra things I asked him to do while he was up on the ladders (he pigeon proofed some places) he only added $50 to his original estimate. I'd use him again and recommend him to anyone.

It took me a while to contact them because they were overwhelmed with requests. Once I finally got a hold of them, things went well. They scheduled a service date.

He spent a good hour looking at our roof, window well, and drains and gave me great information. Our neighbors have an issue with their window well collecting water and after trying to clear it out as a quick fix, he was super straightforward that they should get a snake or call a roto-rooter type plumber to get it done at a more reasonable rate than his crew would take. And at the end of the day, he wouldn't even let me pay him for the time. I would absolutely call him again any time I had a concern or issue.

This was a big and challenging job as our two story house has upper level gutters that are very difficult to access. Also, the gutters needed some significant repair work but we were extremely happy that Steve could do such a great job and that neither he nor we thought they needed replacing. He was a pleasure to work with, very professional, and excellent followup as the job progressed. Would absolutely recommend him.

Steve did an awesome job in installing a new 20ft length gutter for us where our old patio cover was. He was on schedule and completed the job quickly. We are very happy.

Steve Mitchell was referred to us by our house painter Robert Jasso. Steve came to our house within a few hours of our call. He and Robert worked out a schedule so that Steve could replace the gutter during the house painting schedule. This was a huge relief to us and we really appreciated Steve's complete efficiency and professionalism. In addition to the replacement, Robert custom built a downspout in his metal working shop and added it to the house and repaired an existing downspout. He answered every question we had and helped us make a sound decision about where to place the new downspout. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and his work is outstanding. We are grateful for his hard work and our house is now in much better shape because of it. We highly recommend Steve!

Fast and easy experience! I received a call ahead of time to confirm the appointment. They arrived on time, and the work was completed quickly. They left the roof and surrounding areas clean and the fee was exactly as quoted. Overall, very happy with the service. Will definitely hire again.

He showed up as he was in the area and cleaning out all of the debris in my gutters. He cleaned up around the perimeter of my home and made sure all of my downspouts were working.

It hasn't gone anywhere. He responded on 12/18/14 to my original message and asked for my address but I haven't heard back from him as of today 12/23/14. '

Called, responded, showed up at the agreed time, performed work and cleaned up. Very nice work, would recommend again.

Steve advised us to wait until the roof is replaced-no need to replace gutters this year. We really appreciated his honesty and the time spent evaluating our roof and gutters. We will definitely use Gutterbusters when the time comes.

The owner was a lifesaver! Gutters were bulging, it was an emergency situation, and the owner took the time to come out the same day! Did the repair, charged a fair price, and offered solutions to avoid a similar situation in the future. Havn't done the cleaning yet, but plan too!

Repair and cleaning was done well. Steve is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He knows his trade. We received good advice for short term and long term maintenance on rain gutters and downspouts. Steve's assistant was also very professional and personable working efficiently to get the job done. Steve was present on site when repair work was being done advising and inspecting work and working with his crew man. Steve is a true tradesman. He enjoys his work and helping others.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but my experience with Steve of Gutterbusters was so good I felt I needed to take the time. I just purchased a house that had old wood gutters that leaked so badly that water was flowing into the crawl space. I called the top three providers on Angies List and picked Steve for several reasons: 1) he was highly reviewed, 2) he's a really nice guy and took time to explain all the options, 3) he had very competitive prices, 4) he was the only one that really seemed concerned that I picked what was best for me and the house. I was looking to get either copper gutters or aluminum facia gutters. Steve took the time to explain all the options and guided me to 5" Ogee gutters. He convinced me that it was a more appropriate look for the house. Had he pressed for copper I would have likely gone for it. Going with aluminum saved me about $3000 and I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the look. They are beautiful. I had a few special requests that he happily accommodated. I wanted 4" galvanized gutters in the front and all downspouts needed to be galvanized (I like the look of them much better.) Steve agreed to take care of all of this and to properly relocate one of the downspouts to avoid drainage issues. We verbally agreed to the work and then I had to leave for China. He didn't ask for a deposit and agreed to get the work completed within two weeks. He called while I was on my trip and said he could start the work that Wednesday. I was a little nervous since I wasn't home, but agreed. When I arrived home Saturday the gutters were all properly installed, the debris was all cleaned up and they looked amazing. Everything was exactly as Steve promised and his crew did an amazing job. He stopped by to review the work with me and to make sure I was pleased with the work. Wonderful customer service. I couldn't be happier with the work performed. One thing to keep in mind, Steve is old school. He doesn't use email or smartphones. He doesn't have an electronic calendar and quotes are mailed the old fashioned way. At first this made me nervous, but after working with him I was quickly put at ease. I highly recommend Gutterbusters.

When Steve came out to give me an estimate on my gutters he was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. He checked out my roof to make sure there weren't any problems that we would encounter since my house had been without gutters for many years. We discussed the use of rain barrels but decided against installing them due to the maintenance they would require. We also added gutter guards. The gutters, gutter guards, and downspouts were installed a few days later. They look great and I am very happy with them. Steve?s recommendation of the style and color that would be best for my house was perfect. I thought that I got very good value, especially considering that Steve is a licensed contractor, insured, and bonded. I wanted to add rain chains and had an idea to design a fountain for two of the rain chains so that during the dry season the rain chains would be a beautiful water feature in my garden but would still function as downspouts when it rained. Steve immediately got my vision and worked with me to successfully implement it with the thought that this would become a product he could offer to other clients. The fountains look and sound amazing, they are attracting a lot more birds to my yard, and friends of mine are already planning on changing out the downspouts in their gardens for a rain chain fountain/downspout.

It went very smoothly. Stephen was responsive to my request for a bid. We met and he fully explained my options. He immediately gave me a formal bid. I was on a tight timeline and he met it with a quality product and installation. The area was left spotless.

Steve Mitchell, the owner, came to give us an estimate for new gutters. He went on the roof and measured and gave us an estimate right there. Once we signed the contract, he was in constant contact with us regarding starting time. Since we were having our house painted at the same time, he was very accommodating. We could not be happier with the work done and the painter even commented that the new gutters were well done. We would recommend Gutterbusters to anyone who is thinking about replacing their gutters.

He came during a hectic time as we were going through a bathroom remodel and the weather didn't cooperate. He came out a couple of times to clean the gutters and pointed out the repair work that we need to have done. He will be doing the repair work within the next couple of weeks. He's done a great job in keeping in contact with me as we wait out for some dry weather to do the repair work. He has been very easy to work with.
