Excellent work

I hired Stoneman (Carlos and Meghan) to make the countertops for my full-house renovation, which included the kitchen, two bathrooms, and the bar area for the family room. In addition, Stoneman made windowsills for both bathrooms and for the kitchen, a tub surround, a threshold to transition into the master bathroom, and a pedestal for an outdoor garden statue. The materials I used included marble, manmade quartz (like a Cesarstone), and granite. Stoneman handled all materials equally well. The seams are next to invisible, the matches on the grain and veining are perfection, and the edges pristine. I would highly recommend Stoneman to anyone who wants a superior job, and I will use them again for my future projects. Stoneman is easy to work, they are professional and responsive, and they are experts at what they do. They are true artisans who care about quality and you as a customer.

Overall went great, was timely, and people were friendly. Only complaint was the color of caulk was too light. Carlos said it would darken but it did not.

They gave a credible estimate (I had another bid), they did a superb job of removing the countertop without damaging the wall tile I wanted to keep, they invited me to help lay out the templates on the slabs they had. They installed it flawlessly and it looks beautiful. Carlos is very professional.

I received a call back promptly from Megan Moloney after leaving a message at their office. Megan made an appointment right away(Saturday)to see our kitchen and take rough measurements for a quote. I received the quote within the promised time frame and decided to go with their company, even though they were a little higher on some aspects of the job. Megan provided us with a couple of local granite companies where we could look for our stone and invited us to her showroom to see some examples of edging and sink installation options. She even ordered a sink for us when a vendor came by her business with brand new sink products. Once the cabinet work was done, Carlos, the co-owner and fabricator came and made a template of our counter tops and backsplash. We found our stone and were invited to their fabrication site to lay the template on the stone, a good idea as Megan said. Two weeks later Megan called us to schedule installation and Carlos and one other man did the work in a few hours. They were expert at installation and the fabrication was beautiful. Everything fit perfectly and looks wonderful. Carlos was able to troubleshoot some leveling issues with shims and helped us by reattaching some window trim pulled off during demolition by another contractor to allow the backsplash to be installed. Carlos even made us a nice cheese board out of a scrap piece of granite as a bonus!

We spoke with many fabricators and most said they could not work with the stone we selected. Carlos assured us he could do it correctly and he did! We have a beautiful island with the most unique piece of granite anyone has ever seen.

My experience with them was great. They were very willing to discuss design options. They gave me a wholesale price on the granite. It's a two person company, the sales woman was very nice. And the guy that did the cutting was very competent and very nice. Offered suggestions and worked with us to figure out where to put what pieces of the stone. Very cooperative.

Carlos arrived on time, on a Monday morning too! He told me exactly what needed to be done. He told the estimated cost, $95 hour plus travel time. He cleared and prepared the area, sanded the area, buffed and re-sealed it. It was done in one hour, cleaned up and everything.

Outstanding. The owner, Carlos, is a perfectionist and it was the best experience I've had with a subcontractor.
