We were very pleased with Daniel Morra. When we decided to change paint colors on our deck railings on the last day, he painted them the following day without extra charge.

It turned out very nice! They were punctual to the job and did great prep work. Overall, this was a great experience. I was not on site throughout the project, so many of the letter grades did not apply.

I liked the interaction that I had with them. They gave me an estimate before they did work for me. They were pretty diligent. They came in and they were fairly quick and yet did a quality job. They did more or less what they said they were going to do. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We saw the other glowing reports on Angie's list for this firm. They are in the process of changing contact numbers (good phone number is 650-678-0393), so we contacted them through the e-mail feature in Angie's list. They came out the next business day and e-mailed us back a quote. We had them start the work that week. Very prompt. Extremely clean, professional work. They even did additional inspections/work at no extra charge. We already have them lined up for some interior work and a whole house exterior job.

I found Innovation Painting off of Angie's list. Miguel returned my call that day and met me at the unit which is all the way in Half Moon Bay, on a Saturday, which was the best time for me to meet. He provided good advice on the colors and finish. He sent me a quote via e-mail and followed up with a phone call. I had also obtained a second quote which was nearly twice as much for the same job. He was able to start the work within several days of accepting the quote. We met at the unit the day before the work started to go over the final color choices. Miguel worked with his crew of two others and they finished the job within a week, exactly as he had estimated. The crew was very careful, did great work, and cleaned up every day. They even cleaned my ceiling fan which I have never been able to clean since it is 20 feet off of the floor. I highly recommend this company.

The work went well. They did a good job, and they were very conscientious.

We called around for quotes on painting the exterior of our two story house. Miguel responded right away and came for an estimate. His estimate was the lowest of all the ones we have received. Work started a couple of weeks later. He personally and two other people painted the house in a few days. They started by power washing the house first, then caulking and sealing the whole house. The original quote was $4,200. We did have to up it to $4,500 to add a second coat. He was patient to work with us through changing the color several times. We did had to call him back to touch up a few spots, but he did come every time. Overall, we are happy with the results and would recommend him to others.

Miguel was just great. He came down for an estimate although I was slightly out of his regular area. He told me right up front that it would be a three day project, but would be a couple of weeks before he could get to it. He put me on the schedule and I appreciated knowing when we could start. He sent me an estimate by email the next day. It was slightly higher than the other estimates, but not meaningfully so, and he included conditioning the wood in his bid, which the others hadn't. When he came down the first day, we chose a color stain. He is very good with color and was able to envision better than I what color the stain should be. He got some sample stains and we tried them on a similar piece of wood. He came with a helper. The first day they conditioned the wood, the second day they stained it, the third day they clear coated the stain. They cleaned up every day before they left. They did an excellent job. The windows are beautiful and he was a pleasure to have around when they were here. I will call Miguel again when I paint the outside of my house later this summer.

When I initially contacted Miguel, Miguel immediately picked up the phone and we arranged an appointment that worked within my schedule to assess my painting project. When Miguel arrived at my home, I was provided with a fast and fair estimate (no obligation quote) on my painting project. After deciding to have "Innovation Painting" complete my painting project, Miguel and I sat down to figure out a time and date that was most convenient for me. When Miguel and his partner came to my house to paint, they were both courteous and professional. After completing the painting project, there was no mess left behind and no areas of my carpet was stained with paint. QUALITY WORK at a good price!

This project was great! Miguel came out quickly to give a quote and was half (!) the price of the other quote. Several other painters I called didn't even show up for an estimate after they said they would. He answered my questions about how we wanted things done and he made sure to clarify the details. He had no problem making little changes to the contract like using a different brand of paint (with specific shades) and using an accent color. He scheduled the job at my convenience. They did a great job scraping and prepping, finished on time, and the house looks great! No complaints whatsoever!

He was punctual and professional but also friendly. The quality of his work was excellent and the work area was left very clean after painting the primer the first day and again after putting on the finish coat the second day. Because of the quality of his prep and his craftsmanship using oil, I was able to save money by not having to have the heavy doors taken down and spray painted instead and still achieve almost the same finish.

Outstanding experience. We had an extensive remodel with all walls and ceilings replaced, all door, window, floor and ceiling moldings replaced, new stair handrails (a 3-story home), exterior fencing, and you-name-it needed painting, staining, repairing, etc. Miguel and his crew performed professionally on every task. They were a pleasure to have around (they were around for a long time), they were on time, worked efficiently, and left the house cleaned up each day. An aspect I very much appreciated is Miguels interest in color and his ability to solve small -- but important -- carpentry issues. He was easy to talk to and provided good ideas and feedback when asked. Innovation Painting was a highlight of a long and painful remodel. I would recommend them unequivocally.

He was able to schedule the job within a week's time. He said he would be sending 2 of his painting crew to do the job and then he would inspect their work. He met me to do a walk through to make sure all the work was done to my satisfaction. What was really great was that the crew showed up on time (actually a little earlier). It means the most to me that when I hire someone that they show up on time, do the work the right way, and do it in the time frame that they agreed to. Miguel and his crew did all that.

Miguel answered all of my phone calls promptly and I was given an estimate within 2 days of calling. My house was in bad shape (paint peeling, cracks in stucco), but Miguel and his crew worked a miracle. In 3 days they had the place washed, stucco cracks sealed, house painted and all of the old windows got new putty and paint. I was at work the whole time, but Miguel made it easy to pick colors, ask questions and get the job done exactly on time. Very polite and a great price.

Miguel was very timely, cooperative, and reasonably priced. Prep work was very good (washing, scraping, & sanding). The quality of his work is very good, although some small, and relatively minor, painting details were missed. Therefore, Id give the quality of their work an A-/B+, and overall an A-. Id use Innovation Painting again and do recommend them.

The jobs were professionally done in the time promised. Mr. Ortiz gave me all the advice I asked for and worked with me for special requests. The overall experience was pleasant and professional. I will not hesitate to work with him again.

MIGUEL WAS REFERRED BY MY SON'S FRIEND HE TOLD US THAT HE WAS RESPONSIBLE AND A HARD WORKING GUY, WE CALLED HIM AND EXPLAINED THAT I WANTED TO REPLACED THE LOCKS BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER HAD LOST HER HOUSE KEYS, HE CAME RIGHT AWAY HE CHECKED THE DOORS AND THE KIND OF LOCKS WE HAD, HE WENT & BOUGHT THE NEW ONES AND INSTALLED THEM, I PAID HIM BACK OF COURSE. HE'S A NICE MAN.

I CALLED THEM ONCE, THEY CAME TO SEE THE HOUSE, GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE, THEIR ESTIMATE WAS PRETTY GOOD, I TOLD THEM TO GO AHEAD WITH THE WORK, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO TAKE ABOUT A WEEK TO COMPLETE THE WORK, THEY FINISHED IN SIX DAYS. MY HOUSE LOOKS SO NICE WE ARE SO HAPPY, THEY TOOK GOOD CARE OF MY FURNITURE. I WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
