+ -1 moreSee above! I also asked Daniel Morra to give me an estimate on exterior painting: the trim on my home. He provided me with a detailed estimate, and was clear about what he could and could not do. I appreciate his honesty. The house would have required scaffolding which he did not have, and he appeared dubious about when it could happen. I chose another painting company for that job.
Description of Work: I was planning to repaint my master bedroom, a large room with many multiple pane wooden windows. Daniel thought he could complete the job in a day working with his assistant. I bought the paint, the recommended one from Consumer Reports, that I thought was correct for wood work and walls. Daniel discovered that the wall paint was correct, however the woodwork had been previously painted with oil based paint. Painting it with the environmentally-friendly paint, without an oil based primer which would take two days to dry (also nullify the reduced emissions) it would flake off. The alternative was to use a binding paint, specially mixed, to match my wall paint. All of these things were explained to me by Daniel, patiently I might add. He would not be able to do the woodwork, but he completed the walls, and went with me to order the new paint. Unfortunately he was booked solidly for the next 10 days and would not be able to return to complete the job. Since I was without a bedroom, everything was off the walls and in the middle of my room, I was aggravated. At all times Daniel was respectful and professional. And after I calmed down, I realized it was a "no-fault" situation. He called me a couple of days later with the name of another painter who had time to complete the job. By that time, I had hired another painter who completed the job. I would have liked Daniel to do the whole job, but it just didn't work out. He and his assistant did excellent clean, and efficient work.

+ 0 moreWe had a peeling ceiling in the downstairs bathroom (which has no ventilation except a fan). He was extrremely professional. Answered the phone right away. Told me exactly what products he would be using and gave me the option to purchase them myself or have him supply (I chose the latter). Was here on time, ready to go. Did exactly what I wanted, in a timely fashion, and was professional the whole way through. We have had no peeling paint since!

Description of Work: Painters repainted dining room hallway and downstairs bathroom. There were heavy tobacco stains on walls and mold on bathroon which was compromising the adherence of the paint. Painters removed problems and utilized appropriate primer to optimize the paint's coverage and durability. Painters worked diligently to minimize mess and spect extra time to do it right.

They were very professional, working quietly and efficiently. Daniel also found creative solutions for maneuvering around in a tight space without having to move heavy furniture. Overall, we were pleased with the work.

We first purchased a deal from Angie's List to try them out for one room and Daniel gave me a quote at the same time for our exterior too. We couldn't be happier with the painting job that Daniel's team did both inside and outside our house. The exterior painting by them was done exceptionally well, better than the previous job that was done. Prior to them coming, Daniel advised which paints to use and which to avoid. The team that did the job was professional and polite. Innovation painting completed the job in the time they said it would take them. Next time we need something painted we'll be using them again for sure!!!

+ -1 moreThe project took 3 days and the owner Daniel Morra, was on site each day. He had a crew of two other workers and he would come and inspect the work being done and helped on some of the more difficult angles. The workers covered our plants and balcony with plastic to capture drips and in the areas where a few drops hit the body of the house they immediately removed them. The very top sections of the eaves and fascia boards were the toughest to reach because they were on the second story and required painting from the roof. Paint got on a few shingles and fascia trim and when I pointed it out to Daniel, he was very responsive and came back the next day with one of his workers. He brought black touch-up paint and did not leave until he felt any paint runover on the shingles or fascia trim was touched up. They were all very gracious, responsive and cleaned up.
Description of Work: Our house is almost 100 years old and had not been maintained for the last 15 years. The paint on the eaves were starting to flake badly and we wanted to winterize the original wooden rafters. We had used Innovation Painting for interior work at our prior house and we trusted the quality of their work so we hired them to come out to do this project. It involved power washing the eaves, sanding the areas with flaky paint, applying primer and paint.

They are always very busy but they go out of their ways to find a way to fit you in as quickly as they can. The paint and wall paper installation was flawless. They are extremely professional. Lot of attention to detail. They are also very clean and incredible polite. I will definitely hire them next time we need to paint and would recommend to all my friends.
Description of Work: We needed to convert our guest bedroom into a nursery. I ordered some wall paper and pick a beautiful shade of grey for the other walls. We wanted to make sure the room look perfect. Daniel worked hard and by early afternoon the room was indeed looking impeccable. The paint job was flawless, very smooth, lots of attention to detail. The wall paper installation was also perfect, looks pristine, incredible smooth.

+ -1 moreA few hours of drywall service from an Angies List deal. I had some drywall that was damaged and pealing near my window that was on a curved wall. Didn't know how to handel it along with some cracks in the plaster walls of my 90 year old house. The guys came in on time, I pointed them to the work, also asked about some other plaster work and how to remedy some of the issues. They guys said they will only have time for work which was my main concern. They went to work right away, working each space and moving to the next. They did a good job and I was happy with the service. They left me some directions as the plaster did not dry in time for them to do another coat but they told me what to do when they left. I was a little disappointed they did not try and say they could help me for an additional cost with some of my other issues, they just packed up and left and I never heard from them again. Usually hate when someone upsells me, but they did not even give me a sense of what else they can do for me even thou I gave showed them some other issues I had.
Description of Work: Fix cracks in my 90 year old house, and plaster missing from a rounded wall, big chunks and pealing that I did not know how to handel.
