Matt was very courteous ... gave us a call before arriving. Came on time. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. Tested to confirm the problem before proceeding. Took care to protect our floor and carpeting. Explained what he had to do and why. Replaced the pressure sensor located at the bottom of the dishwasher. Tested the unit twice before pushing it back "just in case".Carefully replaced the unit, tested it again to make sure moving it back in didn't cause a problem. Gave us good tips on maintenance. We very much appreciated his high quality service and called the Gourmet Appliance store to let them know what a good job Matt did and thank them.

First visit, initial charge was $120 to analyze the problem. Once found, hose cost about $60. Had to order direct from "Germany" so I had to wait another 2 weeks. Second time around, hose was installed, another $120 and found another part bad. This one cost $126! Had to wait another 2 weeks! Finally, the washer was fixed (Hopefully) and was charged another $60 labor. The technician, Nano was super great! First, he didn't know about the second part until he actually removed the hose. On the final install, he didn't charge me 1.5 hrs needed to do the final install. He just charged me for ,5 hrs! Thank you!!! Michelle was very pleasant, but one thing I didn't like was that when I complained about the cost of the parts, she stated "It was a Miele.' I also think the 2 weeks waiting for the part was a little excessive. I buy stuff online all the time and it doesn't take 2 weeks to arrive. I also called Miele to lodge a complaint on the part cost and time it took to be delivered....no response back yet! If possible, don't buy Miele!!!

What a horrible ripoff and waste of time. Incompetent. Here's how it went down. Our Diva induction cooktop went on the fritz. No idea what's wrong with it, just stopped working. Did the troubleshooting and it said to call for service. So BCS (where I bought it) says to call Gourmet Appliance. I call them, get nice phone interaction and schedule an appointment. I make a point of telling them that Diva has gone out of business, and am told not to worry, they have Diva parts on their truck and are an authorized and trained Diva service company. So the repair guy shows up nice and early - all good there. We have a crappy old stove too that's on the fritz too so I ask him if he can look at that too. Well, he wasn't very fast and really didn't seem to know what he was doing, that's for sure. Took him an hour to diagnose and replace an igniter coil. That's 120 bucks in labor, plus 68 bucks in parts. 120 bucks?! To replace an igniter coil. Lame! Then he goes to look at the Diva and says, "Oh, it's a Diva, so I gotta call the Diva office and talk to them." Um, no you can't pal, they're out of business. "They're out of business? I had no idea. Then there's nothing I can do. I'll have to call my office later and ask them what to do." What?! I told your office myself that Diva was out of business!! Total bill? 250 bucks. 120 dollars to diagnose and replace an igniter coil, 60 dollars to tell me he didn't know Diva was out of business, and 70 trip charge. For what?! To replace a frickin' igniter coil! I complained to the office and got nothing. Nada. Avoid. Avoid.
Description of Work: Needed service to my Diva induction cooktop. Also had a dead oven (separate unit)
