+ -1 moreContacted the company on 9/14 for the job above. Julio missed one appt, which happens. He apologized profusely, then rescheduled to come to my place for the estimate. 10/2, he came over, we discussed details, he promised an estimate for the job in 1 week. That's great. I will get this project done before winter. 1 week passses, no word. I sent Julio a follow-up email on 10/9 asking him where we are in the process. No response. Nothing further. Should I have pursued this further? Call him again? Send him another email? In all honesty, I simply do not have the confidence to do business with him anymore. This would have been fairly extensive and expensive project. If you cannot do a simple correspondence on time with courtesy, then how can I trust them do a costly project? I've worked with other contractors who exhibited these types of behaviors before. Everything gets delayed, poor communication, and the customer gets stuck with inflated bills with the project dragging on. I signed up for Angie's List because I thought I could at least weed out some of the headaches by working with contractors who have been reviewed. I began this search for a contractor in Sept. It is now almost November, and I have wasted ton of time waiting for people to get back to me, but never do. I almost feel bad in singling this business out but I feel like this is a trend among contractors and it has to stop.
Description of Work: Came out to do an estimate for a concrete drain strip and outdoor sum pump.

+ -1 moreVery personable and quick to answer his phone. I understand contractors are busy in the summer which would have been a good excuse rather than the many others.
Description of Work: I called him twice at separate times for projects both large and small. He did not submit a bid nor did he return my last call.

+ 4 moreHis work was exceptional. Most of all I appreciate his honesty and trustworthiness. As older person, I feel that some service people tend to take advantage. Not so with Faundez Construciton. I've also used him for bigger jobs…installing a french drain system, painting exterior and interior, repairing termite damage. He can do it all.
Description of Work: Built a stairway with hand railing from kitchen to garage. It had been unsafe and not to code. Mr. Faundez remedied that. He also removed and readjusted several doors to the outside that had shifted and stuck.

+ -1 moreExcellent work from start to finish. It was a dirty job, hauling a lot of dirt/rocks out of the space and my entry way was kept clean throughout.
Description of Work: Installation of a french drain and automatic sump pump. My payment include 1/3 of the construction (HOA paid 2/3) and the cost of installing a new circuit breaker box.
