I called Banning tree service mid day and was able to get in touch with Ed. He met me at my home that same evening and provided recommendations and an estimate. The next day I called to have to work started and the following day the work was completed. Less than a 36hr turn around time from initial call to completion of work!

Ed Banning promptly returned our call and came out for an estimate the same afternoon. He was punctual, and gave us very detailed written estimate right on the spot (which stayed the same when the job was completed). He also provided us with a copy of his license and insurance without us asking for them. The price was very reasonable. He was also very knowledgeable about trees, and saved an apricot tree for us ? we initially asked him to remove that tree as well because we didn?t know it was a fruit tree. His crew came the next day (again, very punctual), and did an amazing job ? it was as if the trees were never there! We were very impressed.

I don't remember the exact price, but I do remember thinking that it was reasonable. They did a really good job. I have to have my tree trimmed quite often so I held onto his card so I could hire him again.

It went great. Not only were they on time, but a little early. Ed brought a big crew with him. They put protection over the plants below the trees. I had a tiny bit of damage, but really it was a couple small plants I should have covered myself as the stems are very brittle. While pruning, Ed had a question about removing a particular branch and we talked and decided to leave it. He is a very friendly guy who knows what he is doing and directs his crew well. His price is also good. He gave me my first estimate and I decided not to get any more and go with him.

They gave me a good price, were right on time and their work was great!

Courteous, professional, expeditious and reasonable. I highly recommend Ed Banning and his crew, and I most certainly will call Ed for future tree service.

Ed Banning was on time for an estimate. Performed the work from about 9am to 1pm, as promised. Used boards to protect garden. Removed all cuttings. Very satisfied.

I called on Saturday to start the estimate process and spoke with someone who said Ed (Banning) would get back to me promptly. Ed called me later that day and we arranged for him to come by that same day to provide an estimate. Ed arrived promptly and gave a written estimate that I believe was very reasonable. So much so that I stopped looking for other bids. Ed asked when I would like to have the work done, and I said "soon." Ed responded... "how about Monday?" We agreed and Ed committed to being here on Monday at 8 am. Ed and one of his crew were here at 7:58 am. It's now 10:00 am and the job is completed! Ed removed the plum trees, leaving the big stuff neatly stacked in firewood size logs and carted off the little stuff and the trimmings from the other trees. Ed left my yard and my neighbor's yard the way he found it. I had a very positive experience with Banning Tree Service-responsive, punctual, affordable and excellent quality of work. I highly recommend them.

After comparing our estimates with other companies, we decided to go with Ed based on a personal recommendation. I am glad we did. Ed and his crew were considerate of the plants surrounding the trees and carefully constructed a barrier to not harm them. They were also courteous of our neighbors and made sure that if any trimmings went into their yards, they would pick up the debris. In addition to the estimated work order, Ed and his crew trimmed another oak tree we had in our yard and trimmed some hedges at NO CHARGE. I plan on using Ed Banning Tree Service for all my tree trimming needs. He's been in business for 35 years according to his business card and after meeting him and seeing the kind of work he does, I'm sure he will be around for another 35 years.
