Western Exterminator

Called Western May 1st; May 3rd the inspector came out. Hired them, work date was May 18, but THEY changed date to MAY 25 (very upsetting having moved many room's things away from walls). Work done very professionally by technician. Billing was supposed to be on different date (as discussed), but wasn't- OK, but not as planned. Not great on my call returns. Felt work was the key component and (knock on wood) so far it's "A".

Western, and their subcontractor Ideal Fumigation, did an excellent job. Western's inspector, Adam Johnston, was on time, informative, polite and personable. All preparations were completely explained. Ideal fumigators were also on time each day, did not break any roof tiles, and left the property just as they had found it. We did lose one Australian Fern that was very close to the house -- but otherwise, the work was perfect. While the cost was high, it was in line with other companies and lower than some. Very satisfied.

They came out to diagnose the problem first. And they came to check on it afterward. They've been great to work with. The situation keeps changing and they've been great the entire time. We haven't had the work done yet but will use them when needed.

I felt as though they were not placing the traps as much as they should have. However, the supervisor was responsive when I told him about my problems.

The price was a little higher but well worth it to deal with a company that has been in business many years and will be there if I have problems in the future. They were on time, careful with the roof tiles and followed up.

I could not have asked for a nicer person... to work any more quickly... to work any neater... or to explain what he was doing and what outcome he expected any better. The experience, so far, as been a good one and at a reasonable price.

The inspector was on time (although at the very end of a 5 hour window) and was extremely polite and professional. He was easy to talk to and low pressure. I felt like he would do an excellent job and would be easy to work with. He was respectful of our property and patient to explain things to me. The price quoted was about double what we expected but the inspector explained why that was so. I felt he was being helpful and reasonable. However, we did not choose to get the work done because my husband is a die-hard do-it-yourselfer. He used the plans the inspector had drawn and did all the work himself. So far, so good.

THE COMPANY HAS COME BY MONTHLY AS PROMISED AND HAS BEEN QUICK TO RESPOND TO PROBLEMS. UNFORTUNATELY, THEIR RESPONSE HAS BEEN VERY UNSATISFACTORY IN THE FACE OF CONTINUED INFESTATIONS OF RODENTS AND ANTS. WHILE THEY ARE PROMPT, THEY ARE ALSO INEFFECTUAL AND GENERALLY NOT PROACTIVE.

THE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GOOD OVERALL. THEY GENERALLY CALL A DAY BEFORE THEY COME SO THAT I CAN SECURE MY DOGS BEFORE THEY PERFORM THE SERVICE. I WISH I HAD BETTER LUCK CATCHING THE RATS THOUGH. :)

WESTERN EXTERMINATOR HAS PERFORMED A VALUABLE SERVICE TO OUR FAMILY. WE FORMERLY HAD AN ANT INFESTATION WHICH HAS BEEN RESOLVED. WE WILL CONTINUE TO UTILIZE ITS SERVICES NEXT SPRING.

THIS SERVICE IS ALWAYS NICE TO HAVE PEST ELIMINATION HELPS KEEP A SAFE ENVIRONMENT. THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT WHEN YOU NEED IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE FOR ANYONE AS NEEDED.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICES I RECEIVED, THEY GOT RID OF MY PEST PROBLEM. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE INFORMATION THEY GAVE ME WHICH HELPED ME DECIDE ON THE SERVICES I NEEDED.

DALE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, DEPENDABLE, and HELPFUL. HE RESPONDS TO SPECIFIC REQUESTS and WE HAVE NOTICED AN IMMEDIATE BENEFIT FROM THIS SERVICE. COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANIES, WESTERN HAS WORKED WITH US TO KEEP THE COST REASONABLE.

WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE, AND HOPEFULLY WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THEY GAVE US. WE CAN KEEP THIS AND OTHER PROBLEMS ELIMINATED. I WAS A LOT MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN THEY EXPLAINED WAYS TO ELIMINATE THESE PROBLEMS THAN BEFORE.

I HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY ARE VERY QUICK AND ALWAYS SHOW UP WHEN THEY SCHEDULE THEIR APPOINTMENTS. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY DON'T MAKE ANY MESS.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, DID A THOROUGH JOB OF SPRAYING INSIDE AND OUT, AND GAVE US LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO DEAL WITH THE ANT PROBLEM. THEY DID A FOLLOW UP TREATMENT 2 WEEKS LATER. SINCE THE INITITIAL VISIT, WE HAVE HAD VIRTUALLY NO MORE ANTS! THEY WERE ALSO LESS EXPENSIVE THAN MOST OF THE OTHER PEST CONTROL COMPANIES WE CALLED.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE VERY POSITIVE - THE TECHNICIAN ALWAYS CALLED BACK THE SAME DAY AS I CALLED OR USUALLY JUST CAME BY READY TO TREAT THE PROBLEM - EVEN MONTHLY SERVICE WILL COME BACK IF I AM NOT HOME WHEN HE FIRST COMES BY SO HE CAN GET IN THE BACK YARD.

IT IS A PERSONAL FRIEND. I MAY RECEIVE SOME SPECIAL TREATMENT. HE KNEW ME PERSONALLY. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. IT WAS A VERY EASY PROCESS FOR ME. THEY COME AND DO THE INSPECTION AND SAY WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. WE AGREE ON THE PRICE. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE WHEN YOU DO IT. EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

I THOUGHT AS FAR AS THEIR WORK, THEY DO GOOD WORK. THEY COME OUT EVERY MONTH AND I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM ONCE A MONTH. SOMETIMES THEY COME OUT ON A MONTHLY BASIS AND I DON'T EVEN SEE THEM. A LOT OF TIMES WE'RE NOT EVEN HERE. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AS FAR AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I WISH THEY WOULD CALL TO SAY IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE COULD DO FOR YOU. THEY COULD BE MORE INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE SEASONS. THIS MONTH THERE ARE MORE ANTS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

I'VE BEEN WITH THEM FOR YEARS SO I ASSUME THAT IT'S SATISFACTORY. THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK, AND THEY'RE VERY PROMPT. WHAT THEY DO IS GOOD. WHEN SOMETHING NEEDS DOING, THEY COME AND DO IT.

WE HAVE HAD EXCELLENT RESPONSE FROM WESTERN PEST ON ROUTINE CALLS, SPECIAL REQUESTS, DEALING WITH OUR DOGS IN THE YARD AND BILLING. WE HAVE TRIED OTHER SERVICES AND WESTERN IS THE BEST.

THEY WERE OKAY, THEN THEY TRAVELED OFF TO NOT GREAT. THEY WERE KIND OF LATE AND THEY LEFT THEIR TOOLS AND NEVER CAME TO GET THEM. IT WAS SORT OF DISTURBING BECAUSE THEN YOU WONDER WHAT KIND OF JOB DID THEY DO.

I THINK OVERALL, THEY'VE BEEN VERY GOOD AND VERY HELPFUL. WHEN I'VE ASKED THEM TO COME OUT, THEY'VE BEEN PROMPT ABOUT GETTING HERE. WHEN I'VE HAD TO WORK WITH THE SERVICEMEN, THEY'VE BEEN REALLY GOOD. I'M NOT CHANGING BECAUSE THEY SEEM PRETTY GOOD AND PRETTY THOROUGH WHEN THEY COME TO DO THE JOB.

IT WAS REALLY GOOD EXCEPT FOR ONE TIME WHEN A GENTLEMAN CAME AND SAID HE DID THINGS, AND HE DIDN'T. IT ISN'T THE COMPANY'S FAULT. IT'S JUST THE ONE GENTLEMAN. IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. THE HARD THING IS WITH ANTS. ANTS ARE ANTS. IF YOU DON'T KILL THEM WITH SOME NASTY SPRAY, THEY DON'T DIE. THE LADY THAT GAVE ME THE TERMITE ESTIMATE FROM THE SAME COMPANY WAS GREAT. SHE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. SHE ENTERED THE DIRT AND ENTERED THE CEILING. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER.

THEY ARE RELIABLE. I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM. THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR FOLLOW UPS. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY CLEAN WHEN THEY COME BY. THEY CALL THE DAY BEFORE THEY COME OUT.
