It went well as it always does with The Branch. Trevor came out and gave me an estimate and was able to do the work the next week. They did an excellent job of lacing and trimming and cleaned up the area when they were finished.

We had a 14 year old Ficus in our back yard and its invasive roots were causing major problems. We needed the tree removed as well as removal of large bushes, ground cover, and pruning and trimming of giant bird of paradises and palm trees. We contacted several tree service companies and Trevor from The Branch was the most prompt in responding. Their estimate was in the same ball park as the other companies but they were able to schedule the service within a week. Their work was excellent and meticulous. They were extremely patient with our requests during the day of the job. They also did a great work cleaning up the debris after the job. Strongly recommend this company for any type of tree service.

Trevor at The Branch was great to work with. He was quick to respond to my emails and texts, answering my questions. Once we scheduled the work to be done, he and his crew showed up on time and we're very professional. There were several challenges in my yard with three of the trees directly over a gazebo, I was concerned that it would get damaged. Trevor and team were very careful and there wasn't any damage at all. When they finished up the work, they cleaned up all trimmings and didn't leave any mess. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them.

Trevor Long (son) did the on site estimate and came with two assistants to do the work. Very professional crew, did everything in about an hour and a half. The whole line looks very manicured. He used docusign to submit the estimate and create a contract, the entire experience was great. I will call them again whenever I need an arborist.

Fast, efficient, very little work on my part. Called, scheduled very quickly to come out and look at job and provide an estimate; they thought it might be 2-3 weeks to come out, but it was scheduled in a matter of days. I didn't need to be on site, which is helpful. Paid after all work was completed. Will use The Branch again.

They did a good job but it was more expensive than when I have had this done before. Derek examined the trees and I felt confident in his experience and knowledge. Everything went as expected, no problems at all. I think Angie's List providers tend to be more expensive in general, but they are also usually quite reliable.

That's was fine. I think an actual tree that they did for us was fine. One of the disappointments that I had with them was, I had some decorative items hanging in one of the trees that they worked on, and they didn't remove them, and the items ended up falling out of the trees and getting destroyed. I don't know if they just didn't notice them, but they were handmade clay art pieces that I had in the tree and I was disappointed that I came home and they were broken. One of them I was able to glue back together, the other one I couldn't salvage the pieces. I just found them. Maybe they just weren't aware that they were there. They never mentioned it to me and said we're really sorry we broke these pieces, so the only thing I can image is that maybe they just didn't notice them in the tree. I never really talked to them about it, to be fair. I never gave them a chance to address that issue.

They're great for demolishing trees. I think I would get someone else for the artistic part of tree trimming. They left nubs I had to tell them to take off, because I do know how to trim a tree, it's just these trees were too big. I liked them, and I want to be positive, but I would not call them back because I have some artistic stuff that needs to be done. I've been watching their work, so if it's a tree I wanna keep, I would be hesitant, because I shouldn't have to tell them they need to not leave a 2-foot brach sticking up in a pine tree. I really liked them. If I had not been here, it would have been a terrible job. They're great at the actual doing it, but they need some guidance when it comes to what needs to come off. But the one that needed to come out they did a great job. I recommend them for demolishing trees. The way they handled the stump was great. Everything about taking out the tree was perfect, and they were the best price. It thought they were very nice. They were easy to work with, and when I didn't like something they responded very well.

They never did any work. The estimate they gave was fine. When they came out they were courteous and came out when they said they would. They definitely did that. Everything was acceptable. They were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either.

After getting several estimates for our tree work, we decided to go with Derek's company. I liked the fact that Derek is a certified arborist and involved in doing the work along with his crew. He also has a great website and many great reviews. Prior to the work date, I received the contract and made clear on all the terms. The day of the work the team was on time. They worked well together making sure not one of my existing plants were damaged or burned with the hot stump grinder as had always happened in the past. Trevor has a gift for trimming palms and ours look great without me having to mention any changes. The cleanup was spotless and we were very happy with the work.

Contacted them via email, they responded quickly and had an estimate the next day with the service the next week. Great job, good communication and we are a repeat customer and will use Derek and crew again when they are due for another trimming.

Excellent service from start to finish. The estimate was fair when you factor in the fact that he has a contractors license and uses his own equipment not to mention his experience. First time folks also receive a 10% discount ( which I received AFTER he gave me the estimate, which I liked). I had several lines ( SDG&E, Phone, Cable, drain ) running directly under the project. Derek took it upon himself to notify Dig Alert to come out and mark where the lines were so he would have more information prior to the work being performed, I appreciated that. I received a call the day before to let me know he was ready to start and he was on time, brought two trucks and had the whole thing done in less than two hours. They cleaned everything up afterwards and it looks great. I would use his services again without hesitation.

I called to get a few estimates from a few of the top rated tree companies here on Angie's List on Friday November 14, 2014. Derek from The Branch was the first one to return my call. We set up an appointment for the following morning. Trevor arrived promptly at our appointed time. He was very informative regarding the two trees in question as well as answering other questions that we had about other trees in the yard. He gave us a verbal quote as well as emailing a hard copy of it. The Branch's estimate was the lowest one we received and it was by a couple hundred dollars. I called them back a few days later to arrange to have the job done and was told they would put us on the schedule and reminded that it would probably be 2 to 3 weeks before they could get to us. The following day Derek called indicating a cancellation in their schedule and asking if it would be convenient for them to do the job the following day. I wasn't here when the actual job was done. But, my sister said they arrived on time, were extremely friendly and professional and had the job done in a timely manner. They took the two 35 foot tall dead pine trees down without damaging the fence or the yard. And, they got rid of all of the dead wood and debris. I will definitely use them again when the need arises. I'm going to see if they will do a job for me in Fallbrook.

They did a good job. They gave me 10% off. What they did was only $325 to cut the tree down. If they hauled it away, it is another $65. What they were going to charge me was $325 to cut the tree down and do the branches, but they were going to cut up the other stuff up that was wood and leave it in my yard there for wood. They were going to leave it where they cut the tree down. So, I told them to haul it away. So, they charged another extra $75 and that brought that up to $400 and they only charge me $360. They took off 10% is I think how it went. They did good. They were a good company. They were polite. They got up there and got it done. It rained for three days. We called them, but they could not come out. They came out today which was good. It looked bad laying out there. They were supposed to come next week because it would be too soft to work in the grass and cut the tree, but did not. They came out today and I am fully satisfied. I think the price was a good price. They were professional. I would use them again in the future. I have already pointed out some more trees I needed picked out from my property.

Showed up on time. Performed work in a safe, professional manner. Cleanup was excellent.

As usual Derek, his son Trevor and their team did a great job, especially in cleaning up. Trevor had the dirty job of removing -- raking, shredding, putting in their truck to take to the dump -- a 30 ft long, 6 ft high pile of pine needles and branches from our yard. The area he worked on now is spotless. Thanks guys!

Excellent advice on pruning and maintenance issues. Careful work around upper story of two homes. No damage; complete clean up.
