Scheduling the work was difficult (had to contact three times to confirm they received signed contract), but once the group came they were very efficient and completed job in two days, which including replacing plywood underneath roof asphalt, as well as replacing and repainting two decaying fascia boards. The group also reinstalled rain gutters better than I had put them up.

Mike Knitter is a good guy, in addition to knowing his trade and being able to explain it well. We were having many problems trying to find a roofer who could fix a difficult problem. Diagnosing the problem was the first issue. No one could decide what was causing the leak. Clearly, the roof needed fixing, but, so did the wall that the roof had leaked onto for years. It had been inadequately fixed years before we moved in. The wall needed some reframing and all the stucco torn out and replaced. I needed a service provider that could attend to both and to coordinate them so there would be no further problems. Many roofers said, I only do roofing. Mike came over, understood the problem, explained what was needed, and agreed to take the job. The crews that came to accomplish the work were respectful and hard working. They followed the initial time line that they had laid out. The work is done and I am relieved. I would recommend this company to all, especially since I consulted 4 other roofers first. I will use him again if I need major work, and, will also call him for regular maintenance of the roof.

Knitter Contracting Inc did a really good job and I'm just really pleased. It was a really economical job. They were prompt and wonderful to work with. They put it up and they did it just right. They did the coping according to standards that can be found online. It looks perfect. They were great.

Overall it was a very positive experience. They were professional and on time, nice people to deal with, cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, and finished very quickly. The administration was pleasant, the employees were pleasant, and I would definitely use Knitter Contracting again in the future.

It took several days to get a written bid back from them but once I did everything seemed to go smoothly. They were on time and professional and cleaned up after themselves. .

Knitter did a superb job. Arrived on time and completed the job in two days. Thorough cleanup. All at a reasonable price. The real test came about a week later when a three-day rainstorm with strong winds blew through town -- no leaks, not even a drop. Initially, it was a little difficult getting hold of them by phone, but this was more than made up for by their excellent work. No hesitation to recommend them.

Like I said earlier, I'd hire them again in a second with no reservations of any kind. I really liked the job they did and the price was fair.

They did a good job. Their price was reasonable. They cleaned up after themselves. They said what they said they would do, and they have done a good job. They were always here on time.

He was really good. He let me know that I could fix the leak myself by buying the material and doing the work myself. He saved me the cost of him doing it, which would have been way more expensive. He charged me nothing for it. If I ever have roof problems in the future I will defiantly call him to do the work.
