Gold Brush Painting

I had used Tony Richards for previous interior painting and he did a good job. I had him do some additional painting, painting the kitchen after it had been remodeled. He did most of the job, except for the ceiling. I asked him to wait and do the ceiling for a week or so while we decided whether to paint it or use ceiling tiles. After two weeks I called to let him know we wanted it painted, but his voice mail was full. After a half dozen more tries, I finally was able to leave a voice mail. After leaving numerous voice mails for two weeks with no reply, his phone number is now out of service. Unfortunately, I had paid him for the whole ceiling job, including the ceiling, so I am out maybe $100 or so. I have no idea what happened to him, but the bottom line is he did not finish the job and has apparently disappeared. I would recommend against using him.

Tony was very professional, neat and thorough with his work. His preparation and painting can only be described as meticulous. He helped us select the colors and suggested we get test samples to make sure. We ended up tweaking the color with three different shades of the same color to find the right one. He is very familiar with painting mobile homes, including older ones like ours and has numerous tricks for getting the best results. His quote was competitive with other painting contractors. We have recommended him to neighbors and friends.
