+ -1 morePunctual/Professional in giving estimate. Landscape Consultant took three weeks to finish landscape design, and the work began within a couple of days of that. The work was performed on time with employees who were presentable and very personable. There are quality of work issues that need to be addressed; the zone/valve system was not completely shut off as two separate leaks were discovered within the first three weeks, presently, at least two King Palms are on their last legs, several more look weak and unhealthy (these were well established palms in containers). We have lost several newly planted geraniums in the front and back yards, a Bird of Paradise, and two Day Lilies. Two transplanted Pygmy Palms have definitely seen better days, and it will take a minor miracle to save them. The plants that were placed around the water feature never looked healthy, and they too are barely hanging on. I have contacted Mr. Tassoni, and his only concern was that I insulted him.
Description of Work: General grading, border installation, weed guard protection, irrigation system installation (convert zone/valve to low-flow netafim drip system). In accordance with Company's Landscape Consultant, design and provide Premium Plant Installation Services to include soil amendment, planting of 12 (15 gal) King Palms and various flowering plants. Transplant several existing plants to recommended locations, provide and install 9 yards of decomposed granite, change motif of water feature from desert to tropical.

+ -1 moreWE HAD SEVERAL QUOTES ON THIS PROJECT. THEY RANGED FROM ABOUT $3,000 TO $5,800. DIGGITY DOG IMPRESSED US WITH THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF OUR REQUIREMENT DETAILS, CLAIM OF FULL-TIME ATTENTION TO ONE PROJECT AT A TIME, AND LOW BIDDER OF THOSE CONTRACTORS THAT WE HAD A WARM AND FUZZY FEELING ABOUT. THEY STARTED ONE DAY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AND FINISHED IN THE MORNING OF DAY THREE.
Description of Work: AN EXISTING DEAD LAWN AND TREE-ROOT SYSTEM WAS REMOVED TO A 3-INCH DEPTH AFTER A WEED-KILL APPLICATION. THE EXISTING IRRIGATION AND DECORATING DRAIN LINE WERE ALSO REMOVED. A NEW TRIPLE-WALL YARD DRAIN LINE WITH TERMINATING POP-UP VALVE, WOVEN L/S FABRIC, 12 YARDS OF DELIVERED LANDSCAPE GRAVEL, AND 70 FEET OF GARDEN PERIMETER EDGING WERE INSTALLED.
