Nathaniel, the private contractor/installer, was a master craftsman. His work was outstanding, very professional. Lots of attention to detail.

From start to finish in 24 hours it was a great service ! Got a estimate from Empire and they were way too pushy constantly calling after I got there estimate! Got a estimate from Sids carpet barn and the bottom line is they are just incompetent! Save yourself time and aggravation and just deal with Coles!!

We ordered all the flooring from Stephanie (San Marcos) and then had to go out of town for a while. By the time we returned, the flooring had arrived and the installation was scheduled immediately. The installers were very professional and arrived at the time they indicated each day. The lead installers were Jorge for the hardwood and George for the carpet. They and their helpers were excellent and we felt comfortable having them in our home. The work was done in a timely and professional manner.

Knowledgeable personnel. Obtained quotes from other sales/install entities. Coles quote significantly higher. Had to pass. Previous experience with Coles commercial carpet/vinyl. Exemplary carpet and vinyl installers.

The process was great. Coles was professional, punctual and I would use them again.

Coles Fine Flooring did a great job. There is nothing to dislike. They gave me a price and kept to it. The guys who did it did a great job. It was very seamless as they say. It was exactly what I expected.

Asher Lord was very helpful, negotiated any little issues quickly and to our satisfaction. The wood and carpet look great! The floor prep was extensive, and they did a very professional job. All crews were on time and cleaned up very thoroughly.

We asked Coles to provide pricing for carpets and carpet padding. The sales person, Gina, helped us select the carpet we used in the house. She promptly got back to us with pricing which included several extras where the pricing was less than was originally described. The carpet installation was scheduled very quickly and a crew of 3 installers arrived on the date agreed. The installers were friendly, and very professional in every respect. They moved all the furniture, took out the old carpet, installed the pad and new carpet, and replaced the furniture asking for our input as they did it. All of the furniture was handled very carefully every time. The installers did an excellent job installing the carpet, lining up the carpet seams so they did not show in any area in the house. They installed 3000 sq ft of carpet in two days, then carefully cleaned up all of their work. There is not a flaw in any of the carpet through out the house. It was very impressive. The entire experience far exceeded our expectations. I would recommend Coles for any carpet and carpet installation without hesitation.

I love Cole's Fine Flooring. Their workers are fantastic. Their clean-up is great. They were on time. I just love everything about them. It's really neat flooring. It looks like slate.

Regarding a rental house. Contacted store to have estimate and probably have them do the work as tenant had dealt with them before and recommended them. Took over a week to have a call returned, left 3 messages for salesperson and he was mostly off, not working that day. Then when I did speak to him he said he would get measurement done and send me an estimate. Waited another week and nothing was ever done, he never called tenant to schedule appointment. I called AGAIN and asked to speak to manager, Jeremy and asked why they didn't want my business. Had to explain the lack of interest and professionalism on the part of his salesperson. He said he would look into it and get it taken care of. He asked if I had already given a $95. 00 deposit for measuring. I was never asked for that and got angry again as apparently his salesperson doesn't know how to do his job. He waived the deposit and said he would get back to me. I told him I didn't want to deal with that particular person again, but guess who called me back? Yes, the absent salesperson. Finally, we were ready to do the install and he set this up with my tenant. The day came and no one showed up! Tenant called store and found he didn't schedule the job! He also raised a stink because this was the second day he had to take off work and didn't appreciate it. Well, the store was able to find some installers but because the job wasn't scheduled they didn't have the correct padding in stock so had to upgrad the padding at no additional cost to me. Yeah, right! Will not use or recommend this company at all, not sure how tenant was able to recommend them either. Tenant did say installers did a good job, once they arrived. They need to fire a particular salesperson though.

When we bought our home the downstairs hard hardwood flooring and the stairs and upstairs was carpeted. We wanted to replace the carpeting with hardwood and match the hardwood floor downstairs. Since it had been 6 years since the downstairs hardwood was installed and it was done by the home's manufacturer, it was a real challenge to find wood flooring to match it. We found out from the home's manufacturer that the company which originally made the wood had gone out of business. So we contacted a number of flooring companies and asked them to find something to match it as close as possible. After waiting a couple of months with no luck, we met Trevor at Coles in San Marcos. He was very helpful and went out of his way to do everything he could for us. I think it took him meeting with and getting samples from over 10 different suppliers before he found something close enough to match our current floor. Although it took quite some time to find the wood, the installation was speedy. With a day of the wood arriving, we had a crew begin working on our floor. We couldn't have been happier with their professionalism, courtesy and diligence. They kept our house clean at all times, moved our furniture, and cleaned up after themselves each day. The quality of their work was excellent and I've been assured that if we find anything wrong, we can call them to come back out and fix it.

Trevor at Cole's did the in home estimate and helped us to select the carpet appropriate for the area. He arranged the removal and installation around our rather complicated personal schedules, coordinating the tile removal and carpet installation to happen on the same day. The tile removal was done in the morning by a ceramic tile guy, and the carpet installers arrived just as the tile debris was being loaded onto a truck. The carpet installers (2 guys) were done in approximately 2 hours, including helping me put the furniture back in place. All three individuals were prompt, professional and did quality jobs of removal and installation (with me watching the entire process). Trevor was the guy who made it all happen at the right price.....even calling us after our initial sale to reduce the price because of a sale that occurred at Cole's between purchase and installation. In addition, the scheduler called us over the weekend to coordinate schedules for the demo and installation, which was planned to start first thing on a Monday morning. The entire process went off like clockwork.

We were not very happy with them. We bought some wooden flooring for our house. They were going to come to do the estimate and take measurements. But, they did not come when they said that they would. There was a delay. When we decided that we liked the flooring, they had not still given us an estimate even after three or four days. Then we received a call from their store and they told us that they would give us a rough estimate as of now and could not do the work for another week as they were going on a vacation. They said they would give the final estimate only after a week. In the meantime, we found a company that would do the work immediately.

Our sales consultant, Cindy, was very helpful. She even let us search for laminate samples in the warehouse section of the store, where we found the exact flooring we wanted. The installers were polite and did a fine job, except for some of the finishing touches. The baseboard nail holes were not completely filled and the floor was not throughly cleaned.

Abby Baumgartner was simply great. Personable, knowledgeable, and helpful from my first meeting to checking in after installation was complete. The installer, Robert, did a fabulous job and is one that cares about his craft. Demolition of the existing flooring proved to be more than challenging as previous owners that installed the floor used the wrong glues and there was water damage found after the floor was removed. Additional prep work was required beyond the original estimate (not Coles fault), but the end result is marvelous. I'd highly recommend Coles, Abby as the salesperson, and use of Robert for hardwood installation any time.

Abby Baumgartner was great helping through the selection process. Ordering was quick and carpet was available ahead of schedule. When I was ready for installation, the date was set and the installation team arrived on schedule. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain on the day of installation and my garage was full of furniture, inhibiting the installers ability to layout and cut the carpet in a more efficient manner. No problem ... Abby arranged the day before that the installers could do part of the work in the warehouse. It took more hours to do the installation than planned (at no additional cost to me), likely due to the weather problems, but additional installers arrived in the afternoon and the team finished in early evening. I have a wonderful carpet now and would highly recommend Coles and Abby for any carpeting needs.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE EXCELLENT, NOT THE LOWEST PRICE, BUT THE BEST INSTALLATION. ALL INSTALLERS ARE EMPLOYEES OF COLES.
