Action Air representative Eric was phenomenal! I received some of the best customer service I have had in a very long time....Eric was punctual, professional, and answered every question I could think of. He took well over two hours to thoroughly inspect and analyze our home providing us with accurate information needed to make an informed decision. I, unfortunately, could not afford to go with Action Air because there price was higher then the competition (I received 4 quotes)....BUT if I had the funds available, I would be more than willing to pay the extra money for there services solely based off the experience provided by there representative.

The workers at Action Air Conditioning, Heating & Solar were wonderful. Everything was taken care of, we had no problems. They were very professional and checked everything that needed to be checked, they did the job properly and did it right.

From the initial contact to the completed job, Action was extremely professional. Action has a kiosk at Costco which carefully screens the vendors it supports. Bob Feindt came to my home, gathered data and provided a printout of alternate options, including my stated preference for a heat pump to be powered by solar. He also showed an option for propane. With Costco incentives Action was competitive to other proposals I received. Bob was really helpful in answering questions about heat pumps vs propane. He introduced me to the Nest thermostat. Later Bob saved me when I finally realized the propane would provide much more responsive heat than a heat pump. He was responsive on the weekend and instantly changed my proposal. Casey came out with Bob for a pre-installation inspection so that all plans would be ready for the installers. Tim and Victor were very professional installers. It took all week to remove the old furnace, relocate the new one to the crawl space, install a/c, all new ducting and vents and the new a/c. I came to realize how important my investment was in the new HVAC system and am really happy that I chose to work with such a professional firm. It's a great comfort knowing that my system was done right and a reputable firm is ready for any future service that is needed. Thanks, Action!

They were fine. There were like a couple little things like the inspectors are very fuzzy but they're immediately came out and did what they had to do. They were just minor things like they didn’t put a sign on or something but it wasn’t anything bad.

In Oct. 2011 I hired this contractor to do improvements to my home to reduce energy needed to heat and cool my home. I had signed up with a program offered by the Calif. Center for Energy Conservation which offered a $1000 rebate when the work was complete. Action Air President Gregory Gill came to my home and we made a contract. Every thing went well and I paid for the job that I believed was complete. About 2 months later I called Mr Gill and told him I had not received the rebate. He said that he would check on it and make sure it was taken care of. Since that first call I have call Mr Gill many times. Each time I called he has repeated his promise to take care of it and get me my $1000 rebate. I have been waiting for over 13 months and still have no rebate.

Very professional, from estimate to installation

The price was good. The installers showed up on time. Everyone involved from estimate to installation was very professional.

The appointment was set up professionally. The tech was on time, respectful and professional. He was also very prleasant.

The process was so easy from start to finish. The various options were given us. We picked the option that best suited the needs of each of the homes where we were replacing the HVAC systems. Start date was selected and adhered to. A couple of small hiccups in moving one compressor and furnace were quickly resolved by the crew. The job site was immaculate for the entire install. When they finished all paperwork was explained, signed and then I paid. It was so easy. After the install was complete, the Action Air Duct cleaning crew came out and cleaned all the ducts. Again, minimal fuss and intrusion. The best experience ~couldn't ask for more.

They were excellent. Our first bill from the power company only covered 3 weeks for the solar and it was $1.62. We refinanced our house and our payment raised $40 but our electric bill was only $1.62. We are going to save hundreds on our electric bills. They were very responsive; just excellent. There is a tax rebate so we will get a lot of the money back. We own it so it actually puts equity into our house. It is really a win-win situation because it increased our property value. They were really good.

We stopped at the Lennox booth in Costco and made an appointment for a consultation. Bob, the Action sales rep., came to our house to discuss our heating and air conditioning needs. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful in assisting us in determining what units would be best for us. We felt very comfortable with Bob and his recommendation and scheduled an install date. The installation crew arrived on time, they also were very professional and did an excellent job removing/installing the equipment and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was completed. They also explained all of the operating procedures for us in detail. The crew that came to clean the air ducts did a great job as well - we are very pleased with all of the Action Air crew. We would recommend Action Air to anyone looking for a new furnace, air conditioner, servicing their current unit or cleaning the air ducts. Our new Lennox units are working so efficiently and quietly that we wish that we would have done this sooner. Thank you Bob and the Action Air crew for such a great job!!!

If I had to choose one word to describe Action Heating & Air, it would be: A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!! Rarely do you see a company that no matter whom you talk to or what the job function of that person is - everything goes smoothly and according to expectations, even exceeding them! I bought a house recently and of course since was build in 1990, the air conditioning system had to be replaced. I met action-air through a deal they had at Costco to install a brand new system by Lennox (which is a high quality product by its own). We scheduled an appointment with them and out came Bob, the sales advisor - spent about 2 hours in the house with us. Explained all the details and offered us 3 options (low, mid, high cost) without even us asking for them. Printed them out right of his portable laptop and printer. We took the mid-range deal. Everything just continued to go on beautifully. Chris, Daniel and Billy - young professional installers - clearly know what they are doing, and doing the very best job with emphasis on quality of work! Explaining and answering all the questions I had during installation. I even put in the nest thermostat by apple to complement the system. The other day, another person (whose name I can recall now) came with the thermostat and said "look, I don't advise you to install it now since you have all of these contractors working in your house and this is an expensive piece. Let them at least finish the wall completely around the thermostat location and then I'll come again." - now there's an example of someone who cares for the customer! He could have just install it and go on his way - but he didn't. He didn't want to risk damaging an expensive device.l I also had to ask him for another favor. I had to move one of the duct lines beyond a supporting wall. He told me to contact the office and so I did. We then said we'll schedule something for next week. Lo and behold, I come on Friday to inspect the house and progress and what do I see? Everything was done! Without even me scheduling the appointment! Apparently they called the contractor directly and did the work seamlessly in the background. Are they cool or WHAT?!?! Also, all of their staff: Cynthia, Peggy, Marissa and I can't remember the fourth one - all of them are super courteous and friendly. Dittos for the sales advisor Bob and the Installers Chris and Daniel. What else can I say??? I am extremely happy and satisfied! I wish their CEO can see this letter! I really do.

The technicians were very courteous, worked very hard, and did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were finished.

He came out to do the estimate.The salesman impressed me the most and he gave me the best ideas.

They found the leak in the flow control valve. They were able to find a substitute for this 38 year old obsolete part.The replacement valve has superior safety features. The Senior Service Technician, Bill Sanford, was able to figure out how to make this new designed valve work with this very old furnace. A real problem solver!.

This company arrived on time, was professional, and repaired the furnace as promised. The price was very reasonable. I had called several other companies describing the exact same problem, and received quotes ranging from $230 to $295. ACTION charged $134 and I thought that was reasonable.

It cost me 3 times the amount of money and they never really did fix the problem a lot of times. I got them off of Angie's List. They were rated well. They kept doing one thing and then another thing and then something else. They were waiting for parts and then I heard a different story. It was a couple of thousand dollars here and another couple of thousand dollars there. It ended up costing me a lot because I was having the house up for sale. They didn't do something right so it cost me money to get the dryer fixed. They said they were going to pay $120 for it and they never did. I had forgotten about it and just remembered now since it's been so long. I would not use them again in the future.

Diagnosised and fixed a simple problem with our furnace. Took no longer than 20 minutes. On time and professional. Also showed me how to look for diagnositic code in the future.

The technician arrived right on time, he was very friendly and pofessional. He looked at the unit and found the problem right away, the pressure switch was bad. At first he thought it was just the hose to the switch because it had a couple of holes in it (from rats,ugh) and he happened to have one in his truck, so installed the hose and it started working. However, it only worked for a few minues and then stopped, so he determined the switch was bad as well. He replaced the switch and everything is working fine now, my house is finally warm again. I appreciated that he tried to save me some money by just replacing the hose rather than the more expensive switch. He also told me that my unit should not need to be replaced any time soon, that's nice to know. I will use them again if I have any problems in the future.

Last year, I had a local HVAC person come and inspect my old gas furnace (I had just bought my condo). He seemed to believe that the unit was ready to give up, and that it was all rusted and ready to fall apart. As I prepared myself for potentially having the replace it (and the AC unit that sits on top of it too), I decided to get a second opinion and called Action Air a few weeks ago. The gentleman came in and inspected the unit. He said that although it looked old, it was functioning properly and I should not be too worried. I was most preoccupied with safety. He explained a few things about how the system works (the unit has a pilot flame). He also warned me that if a part were to break, it would be very difficult to find a replacement part. So I should be prepared to replace the unit if it fails. He cleaned it up well; inspected the burners; made sure it worked properly. I am very satisfied with his professionalism and service. The price was also very decent, $99 for the inspection and clean up. He stayed about an hour or so. He offered to send someone out to prepare an estimate if I wanted. He was not pushy at all. I greatly appreciate that. All in all, I am happy I found these guys.
