Description of Work: Contracted thru COSTCO in 20111 for new Lennox heating and central air conditioning. Price was fair, installation was excellent and the follow-up has proven Action Air to be a customer-centered business. I still have an annual service contract with them.

Description of Work: Action Air is full of the nicest, most competent and helpful people I have ever dealt with. From Bob in Sales, to my duct cleaner Benjamin, to the installers Drew and Ignacio. The reason this is important is because it instilled confidence in me, the customer, right away. No question was too small or distracting. The quote was fully explained and options were discussed thoroughly; I am very pleased with the unit I chose--a highly efficient and quiet [very quiet!] Lennox Heating & Air Conditioning Unit--thanks to Bob who knew all the specs of every option and took time to thoroughly inspect the house and grounds to determine a good fit. Great care was taken in the duct cleaning to prepare and clean without making an impact on our living quarters. The air vents were all replaced, and the house circulation is now quite fantastic. As good as I have ever dreamed of having. The unit was installed with the precision of watch makers and a lot of tuning and testing was done to make sure every detail worked as expected by the manufacturer. My house has been cool and comfortable thanks to Action Air since their visit last week. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Description of Work: Action Air installed a new Lennox furnace and air conditioner several years ago. I have them come twice a year for regular check-ups. I've been very satisfied with their installation and their service.

Description of Work: The furnace was kicking out regularly. The furnace technician arrived at the house and checked the obvious (to him) possible causes. He discovered that the homeowner had closed about 70 percent of the registers. This caused the furnace to heat up and a safety device turned it off. His solution was to open the registers. The furnace has not shut down since.

Description of Work: We have an installation date scheduled in July for new ducting and HVAC. Trever has been very professional and thoroughly explained every detail of the work and quality of the units being installed. He came prepared to give an estimate on the first call and showed me the rebates available and financing through the HEROProgram. I look forward to the work being completed.

Description of Work: This company sells thermostats that shut off for 3 hours if you set the temp @ 75degrees. They do not disclose this to you until you discover it when you wake up on a cold night shivering. I had them replace the thermostat only to discover it did the same thing. They happily charged me for 3 different thermostats that did the same thing. I don't need some Company that will keep taking your money and not inform you that these "Big Brother" thermostats is all they carry. I'm out hundreds of dollars and still have no heat in my very cold bedroom ! I know we should be conserving energy but I don't need Big Brother controlling my heat

Description of Work: Tech showed up on time, which I always appreciate. I wish the dispatcher had communicated to him my request to call once en route to my location so I could have been sure not to be in the shower. Called for service because my home inspection report indicated my heater hook up was not up to code and shouldn't be used until the problem was corrected. Turns out no repairs were needed since only homes built after mine are required to have this improvement made. I think most people would have told us it was necessary and performed the job, but the heater guy was honest. So instead of spending the extra $500 we only had the preventive maintenance performed. Yeah! Always good to save some cash.
