The estimate for the complete job was $4,000.00 There were no additions and the ending cost was $10,000.00. They told me they worked for time and materials and it just cost more than they thought it would. The job was delayed because the cabinet maker, the plumber and Dave had personal functions they had to attend. They did not say this would be the case when the job was contracted to them. The cabinet maker said his price went up because he had to visit the job site so often. When he was on site he usually stayed less than 1/2 an hour and often came without the right tools. He borrowed my best hammer on one of this visit and did not return it. No new cabinets were installed. He use the old cabinets and really just realigned and reinstalled the old doors. The plumber had no helper and ask me to help him lift the 60 lb sink with him. He did not help when ordering the parts needed to replace the sink and it is still not at the standard it was when he started work. The counter tops were refinished at this time, my counters are stone, he worked until late at night with little light and left one stone table in worst condition than when he started. His cost of his work is not included in the $10,000.00 but I knew that to begin with. But that these men used time and materials to get the price up is inexcusable. I had another estimate from another contractor that was for more than the $4,000.00 but I thought he was just trying to inflate that price. Pacific Home Builders had been highly recommended to me and I took them because of this recommendation and because I thought the price was fair. I trusted them because of this recommendation and let them set their own time and terms. I had no idea they would use the cost and materials clause to really take advantage of me, in the end they laughed at me and said their work was worth the extra cost. The above date of the service is an estimate. I don't have the exact date at had right now. But it was in 2012.

Very satisfied from start to finish. We've been in the structure for 12 years and there hasn't been a single problem with the work completed by Pacific Builders.

They did a great work. They were well-planned and convenient. Their price was great. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They were on top of the ball. During their last visit, I paid them less than $100 for their service.
