It went great! Thomas obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. He took pains to match grain and wood and when something did not go exactly right the first time he worked at it until it did. Thomas takes his time but only as long as one might expect from a crafts person. I think the end result is great and everyone who sees it has only good things to say. A manufactured piece would never have the character that ours does. It is clearly one of a kind. If Thomas was supposed to be at an appointment he always called if he was running late. A bonus: the bed comes assembled and Thomas installs it so you do not have to.

Thomas came out in earl April to measure and ensure we had the appropriate space available for a wallbed. He also brought wood samples with him, as well as his book that contained all the various design and types of wall beds. The time frame commitment is 6-8 weeks and he knew I needed it by 6/19. Thomas also has a great relationship with a local furniture shop to get a discount on the mattress. Thomas contacted me that he was a little behind because of an illness but commited to having the wallbed installled. As we got closer there was some type of wood problem that did not allow him to get me the wallbed in time for my guests. As bad as this sounds, Thomas immediately solved my problem by bringing out a new bedframe and new box spring and having it ready for my guests arriving the next day! He committed to having the problem fixed by the following week. And 2 days later, after my guests left, Thomas came by and installed my new wallbed. It's is beautiful and compliments the room! Thanks to Thomas and his team.

We had them install a wallbed seveal years agon in another room in our house. We decided to move it into another room. This mean they had to take it apart, carry it to the room, after they first had to move a sofa bed out of the room. (Which would not fit through the door, so it had to be taken out through the window!) They then had to put it back together, and re-install it. They were very neat, and one of the workers insisted on helping me carry items I had taken out of the room, and off the book case (attached to the wall bed) back into the new room.. I can't say enough about the neat way they cleaned up and installed the wall bed.

Tom's built a beautiful Mission Oak Queen Wallbed for our guest bedroom. Installation was flawless. I highly recommend Tom for any room upgrade. When my parents visited I gave them the master suite and we slept on the new wallbed! Incredible easy up and down along with a good nights sleep. No more futons in this household!

It went extremely well. Because this was a major investment for me, I did a significant amount of research into the various designs and mechanisms which operate murphy beds. Then, I researched the individuals in our county who handled these units, including previous reviews on Angie's List. I telephoned each of them, visited their workshops and saw examples of their completed projects. After doing all of this research I commissioned Thomas, owner of Wallbeds Incorporated, to build my bed. And I am so glad that I did. From start to finish, Thomas demonstrated a professionalism and care with his work that was unrivaled. He quickly responded to my initial inquiry, came to my home to see where he bed would go and discuss what I wanted. He brought with him the catalog of styles, finishes, etc., along with samples of various finish stains that he could use. We made a clear contract about what I wanted and the time frame that it would take for him to complete the work, which he adhered to. The bed that he constructed for me resulted in a piece of fine furniture, which far exceeded my expectations. He was exceptionally careful in selecting the wood that he used and in finishing the cabinetry. He carefully matched the wood grain in the various areas of the bed frame so there is a beautiful artistry in the piece. Prior to finishing the detail, Thomas called me and asked that I come to his workshop to consult on the final detailing of the piece, which I did. At that point he suggested a modification to our original design detailing. Although he left this decision totally up to me, I was very willing to follow his advice and the resulting appearance of the cabinet is improved over what it would have been if he had just followed our original plan. This demonstrated to me that he is clearly concerned in producing the most beautiful furniture possible, even if it takes more effort and time. My new murphy bed mechanism works smoothly and well and is a truly inspired piece of furniture. If you are considering owning a murphy bed, I absolutely recommend Thomas without reservation. It will be done right, on time, and professionally installed. And I trust that, like me, you will be very happy with the result.

4 years ago I bought a wallbed from Thomas Aronsohn. Dealing with him during the purchase was very easy. He was helpful, not pushy and very professional. I have been extremely pleased with the wallbed I bought. One year ago one of the pistons broke on the wallbed and I contacted Thomas. Within a day or two he came to my home and spent 3 or 4 hours replacing the piston and making sure everything was in good working order. For this service he changed me nothing. This year the other piston failed and he came out again, spent a couple of hours working to replace it and, again, charged me nothing. I cannot remember when I have had this kind of follow-up service on any other purchase I have made. I would highly recommend the products that Wallbed Incorporated makes and sells and even more highly recommend the follow-up service he and his wife provide. It was a pleasure to deal with people as professional, honest and friendly as Thomas Aronsohn and his wife Rosa.

My interaction with Wall Beds Incorporated was terrible. I ordered the custom murphy bed, providing a detailed schematic of where cuts would need to be made to accommodate light switches and power outlets. I paid half of the value of the bed and then heard nothing for more than the 4 weeks that I was told to expect. When I got in touch with Thomas, he said that he had the bed ready, but he would not make the cuts I had asked for. When I told him I expected him to perform the work as we agreed, he invited me to take him to court. From there, the interactions were extremely unpleasant. I got the bed but had to make the cuts myself so that I could reach my lightswitch.
