Description of Work: Final outcome ok, but office worker messed up interface with home warranty and sent out plumber without the relief valve, even though we gave model. Because they failed to get the usual pre-auth available for such jobs. I had finessed the valve to closing to a small dribble, but plumber left it streaming! He wouldn't believe my wife that I had gotten it almost closed (tapped shaft with hammer lightly to re-seal). Came out again and fixed ok, but were going to have to wait for them two half days! Got hold of service mgr and arranged a more definite appt the second time. My home warranty company was great and clued me in about what happened by noting that Jerrys hadnt submitted pre-ayth form. Suspect they had new computer illiterate office worker ... But still. Inconvenienced us.

Description of Work: I thought it was a plumbing leak in a water pipe but the plumber found that the shower drain had rotted out. He had everything with him to replace it and did so in less than a couple hours. Jerry's sent the plumber out the day after I called, he was right on time, and was very knowledgeable about his work. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: What I paid for was the minimum for tightening up a hose bib. I thought this was a different kind of connection but all it needed was snugging up. So. I feel a little foolish for calling a plumber for a simple job but I did, he was there in a reasonable amount of time, and performed the task professionally. Writing up the bill took longer than the fix but that's my bad.

 + -1 moreGreat. He got here within the window promised, knew what needed to be done, did the work and charged the least he could under the circumstances. The problem was that I like to keep the temperature of my water heater low to save energy, but the limiter on the faucet made the temperature in the bathtub lukewarm. Guests did not enjoy that. I tried to remove the facet handle myself but was unable to do so - I had managed to remove the limiter on another faucet in the house - so I called Jerry's Plumbing. I made an appointment for the following morning and it got done. The one complaint I have is that when I spoke to the person on the phone I asked her what the charges are. She said it depends on the job and that the service person will give me an estimate for free before doing the work. She did not tell me about the $25 service charge just for getting the truck to my door. I do not object to this charge but she should have told me about it.
Description of Work: The serviceman removed the faucet top in my guest bathtub and removed the temperature limiter inside so that the valve can be moved to as hot or cold as I want.
