Bid walk - we had three estimates. Green Goods was on time and very professional. Show room neat and tidy. Staff very helpful. Estimate - Compared other similar bamboo flooring products for quality and price. Green Goods was cheapest flooring price, about the same in install and other costs. Flooring material was required to be paid for up front. Labor and other materials paid at end of project. Detailed estimate provided. We did our homework and asked for details like floor leveling costs of $1,000 be added to estimate. We negotiated costs and were satisfied with final outcome. The project was 561 sq ft of living room and dining room with two transition from sliding glass doors and two tile transitions. Living room and dining room had open archway. Preparation and moving furniture - Green Goods delivered flooring product and we had to store it inside living room to let it acclimate to location for about 5 days. We had the baseboards removed by our painter who came in just before the flooring. Would recommend this approach as its usually cheaper and painter took care to remove and number the boards. Lucky we only broke one board. Easy to replace. Green Goods (GG) reinstalled baseboards. GG took odd choice moving furniture around. Heaviest items included piano, sideboards and huge three piece entertainment center. GG moved most furniture from one room to the other room instead of out to hallway or other areas. Removal of old carpet went smoothly - the disposal cost was included in estimate. Floor leveling - we had a concrete slab and we knew some floor leveling was inevitable. Underestimated cost by $365 - labor and materials. Installation of new bamboo flooring - went smoothly without issues. Install of transitions did not go smoothly. see later comments. Moving furniture back to original locations - GG knew we could not do this by ourselves and that wasn't very nice. Cost was under $100 for two staff to do this - took less than 2 hours. We prepared all the furniture with felt pads and felted cups in order to not damage the new flooring. We also had a followup walk through and repairs to transitions done - this was because sloppy work was done installing them. GG had to putty and re-attach the pieces and edges where the cuts were. Note: transitions are not very long pieces and several will have to butted together in order to span large doorways where surface differences exist. Seems product does not lend itself to easy install. Lastly, Green Goods came out for final walk through and gave use a floor care package. This was great. Although the manufacturer recommended cleaning and a light buffing of the flooring after install, GG did not do this - so we had to do this.

They are eco friendly cabinet makers. They are very professional and very pleasant. They did a terrific job. They have been very pleasant to deal with. I can get cheaper people to put in cheaper cabinets, etc but this was eco friendly type stuff and it was good price for the value. They got way laid a couple of times in terms of punctuality just because of the other jobs that they were doing.

Everything went great. They did a great job. I've used them several times over the past 2 years. I've purchased flooring from them twice, a bathroom countertop, tile, etc.
