On every aspect of the job, we were more than satisfied. Casey's attention to quality and detail go beyond what you even hope for, let alone expect. He takes your plans as a starting point, and then makes suggestions on how to make them better. Not more expensive, just better. There are a lot of examples I could share, but he was constantly providing suggestions on how to improve upon what was on the design set...improved locations for data ports, providing more underground conduit to avoid overhead wires, locations of switches so they are most convenient for how you live, adding in-wall conduit so HDMI and other cables can be later fed through walls and not visible. He really brings focus to details. And the big things...he kept us on budget and on schedule. We are not rich by any means and he understood we were on a set budget. He kept us on track the whole time and delivered beautifully for us. We were out of the house for 4 months total...very impressive since it was brought down to the ground, and then rebuilt. On top of all that, his team is first rate. They were 100% professional, very friendly and made the experience manageable...even enjoyable. After almost a year later and there are zero signs of any issues...no cracks in drywall, doors and windows still work perfectly...plumbing and electrical all perfect. I figured we would see at least a few little flaws come through, but the quality is first rate. If you can get Casey and his team, get them. You won't be disappointed. Darren and Kerry Brown

I called Mr. Casey Dunn to get a quote of fixing some drywall cracks. I loved that he called me back so quickly and was able to see our clients in a timely manner. Unfortunately he had no idea what he was talking about. He informed us that the structure of the home was compromised and he would need to move our clients out of their home for 4 days to work on it. I asked him in the beginning of he has ever worked on a pre-fab or manufactured home. He said that he has and has worked on them for years. I'm pretty sure this was a lie. These homes are built off site and they are inspected by the state, the structure of the home was just fine. If it wasn't, it wouldn't have left the factory. When we got his quote for $7,000+, we decided to look for someone who knew what they were doing.

They made the repairs while we were out of town for the weekend. They came in with ladders, used plastic draping to contain plaster from the ceiling and heavy paper to protect the floors during demo. After they pulled the remaining plaster off the ceiling they filled in with new drywall, taped, textured and sealed with primer over a two day period. The result was perfect! I wish all my walls looked as good as their finished work on the ceiling in this old house! We didn't have to put up with the mess during the repair. When we returned Sunday evening the work was completed as promised, the area was clean and ready for paint! Casey and crew are a pleasure to work with. They are trustworthy, competent and polite. Their work is exceptional and they go above and beyond to work with the client.

The job went perfectly from start to finish.....Great attention to detail.....very friendly.......very knowledgeable......Everything they said they would do they did and all on time......kept a very neat work site......I would definitely use Dunn Construction for all other projects in the future. Pricing was very competitive.... A +++ rating.

t.I e-mailed the end of April. Heard nothing. Called 5/3/2014 and spoke to owner. I told him what jobs I would like performed. He said he was very busy and would call to schedule an appt. with me when he completed his other jobs. Have not heard from him yet.

The work went great. The construction team was very polite & professional. They handled everything from the framing to the electrical to painting the drywall after it was hung.There was a wall mounted light that needed to be moved and after they moved it and repainted it, it looks like the light has always been there. When the project was complete they spent time cleaning and vacuuming the work area so there wasn't any mess for us to clean up at all. I was very happy with their services.

I have had experience with remodeling of my own home in the past and I realized that who I chose would be one of the biggest gambles of my entire project. Casey answered my call promptly, listened to what I wanted and developed a working plan. He was ALWAYS on time, enthusiastic about the job and showed pride in his workmanship. Because I had a long-planned vacation right as the project was getting off the ground (delayed escrow), I had been considering leaving it all until I returned. After meeting a few times with Casey and deciding together on all material and design details I had confidence that he would do it right. I could quickly tell that he was really listening to what I wanted, and was very good about guiding me in what would add value and return on my investment, and what would be wasteful. I am not a gambler by nature, I am usually wary of getting burned by tradesmen, but never felt that way with Casey. So off I went to Europe and off Casey went to my property. He sent me pictures of the project throughout and kept me up to date with how things were going. When I returned we had to just put the finishing touches on and it was ready to be rented. Casey and his crew did the most professional job, it came out beautiful. Quality work in every detail down to painting the shelves inside the closet white and changing out knobs on the laundry closet to match the ones in the kitchen. The neighbors commented on how the work progressed every day with none of the delays that usually occur when the builder juggles two or three jobs at the same time. We had Casey do an extensive remodel of one our rental properties in San Luis Obispo which we were going to sell. Upon completion, it sold within a month and a half, I believe a lot of that was due to the quality of the remodel Casey did. It included remodeling the kitchen, a new completely new bathroom, adding closet space, remodeling all other rooms, restoring the oak flooring throughout the house, and completely restoring the outside of the residence. He did an excellent job at communicating, budget and with his workmanship. He is very easy to work with. He is highly recommended by us and would use him again.

We met Casey a few years ago when he did our first small project. He is an easy guy to work with--friendly, outgoing, eager and loves what he does. Over the years we had him do increasingly larger projects. When it was time to do a major addition to our home, we did not hesitate to hire Casey as the contractor for the job. He is meticulous about his work and only hires subs who are the same way. Our finished product does not look like an "add on" but rather looks like it has always been apart of the original house, which speaks volumes about not only the design but the execution. Casey is creative, enjoys the process of defining what we want and then determining how best to achieve that result. Casey is the single father of two young girls so he is not on the job at the crack of dawn, but that did not bother us one bit. He arrives when he says he will, works hard and expects all of his subs to do the same. If one of the subs does not perform in the way Casey believes they should, he is on it immediately and the work is redone until it meets his/our standards. Also, he is very available for any emergencies. For instance, one night in the middle of our construction we began to smell smoke. We could not identify the source. We called Casey to see if there was something with the electrical wiring that was being installed that might be causing it. He said he did not think so, encouraged us to call the Fire Department and said he would be right over. So, at 8:30 at night, we had the Fire Department and Casey (with his two young daughters in tow) at hour house trying to find the source of the smoke (ended up being a burned out fan in our satellite television electronics system)! We trust Casey to be on call for us when we travel in case our house sitter has any problems which need immediate attention, no matter what kind. We know he will be able to assess the situation, handle whatever it is, and be reasonable and fair regarding any needed repairs. He will be our contractor for any future work we need and we are pleased to recommend him.
