Description of Work: Alan figured out how to cover some very odd shaped windows above sliding glass doors, making all of the windows and doors coordinate pleasingly. He took care of a problem with glare by making the blinds easy to manipulate.

 + -1 moreIt took a week to get the estimate. I think he forgot about us. But when we called to remind him he got us the estimate within 24 hours. Then he expedited the order and installed them within 10 days. He was very professional in his installation and even helped adjust the length of previously installed shades. Our remote controlled shade had a glitch and stopped working after one day. We called and he came the next day to adjust it. Since then everything has worked perfectly. He synchronized our previous remote controlled shade with the new ones so they all work from the same controller. He told us to call any time in the future and he would help us with any difficulties with the shades. I believe him. We sill definitely order shades from him again!
Description of Work: Brought samples of blinds to our house. Matched previous existing Hunter Douglas shades for style and color. Ordered the shades and installed them when they arrived.

 + -1 moreAlan was contacted regarding an install of blinds and hanging art work, mirrors and a ram's head just a week and a half before the Thanksgiving holiday. He had a very busy schedule but he agreed to make time to accomplish this task at my newly completed home. He arrived as scheduled and went through the plan for installing all the items with the decorator. There had to be at least 30 pieces of art to be hung as well as 4 or 5 mirrors, 2 of which were very heavy. The ram's head which needed to be hung in the main room of the house was quite heavy and awkward as well. It had to be hung so high it was like being on the second story of the building. Alan did it all with no help from anyone else and no complaints. He is very well organized, very cheerful and very professional. I would recommend his services definitely.
Description of Work: I had ordered blinds from a decorator and Alan came to my house to put up the blinds and to hang quite a few pieces of art work, some mirrors and a very large mounted ram's head with very wide spread antlers that was to be mounted quite high in the main room of our house. He listened very carefully to all requests & directions. He worked independently as well as under the direction of the decorator. He was very pleasant. We were working under a deadline to finish everything before Thanksgiving & he cheerfully made it all work in his very busy schedule. The blinds, art work, mirrors & ram's head were all hung perfectly. The materials he provided were appropriate for each item. I was very pleased with his service and I felt his charges were reasonable.

Description of Work: Replaced the chain that opens the vertical blinds, and the cord that raises a duette shade.
