Contra Costa Heating and Air Conditioning

They were on time and on schedule. Which is the only positive things I could say. They are non responsive once the contract is signed for anything that comes up. They do not follow CA contractors law. They do not have their license on anything and they take unlawful deposits and payments. They lied about getting a permit and we waited months for them to finally address the issue so that we could get the HERS testing done. We would call daily and be told someone was handling things and often it was a different person that was supposed to handle it. They lied on the permit paperwork regarding the work that was performed and on the HERS testing paperwork and to this day they refuse to correct the paperwork and to retest so that we would feel comfortable with the work that they performed. I would not recommend them under any circumstances. I have no idea if the work they performed is correct since the paperwork isn’t and they refuse to have the test done with the correct paperwork to insure that it was all done properly and will not cause us problems down the line.

I called to make an appointment to get an estimate for a replacement Furnace. An estimator named Adrian called and made an appointment fairly quickly, I told him that I had to get this done fast because my sister in law is disabled and we need a working furnace ASAP. After he gave me the estimate I approved it and it was the next day and they were there to install. It went without a hitch. The technicians showed up early and were very conscious of my rugs and furniture. They made sure to put booties on their boots and made sure the furniture was protected. I have never had a service that was that conscious before. They installed the furnace took away the old one and cleaned up. After they installed they stayed to make sure I knew how to work the thermostat and made sure all of my questions were answered. Since then I have called with other questions and Anthony was a big help.
