This is the very first recommendation I have ever given. It was a challenging job due to the really small crawl space in my attic. They were honest in their recommendations of what I actually needed. The entire process was smooth. They were punctual, polite, clean and did an excellent job all the way around. I will recommend and use them, again.

Tech evaluated our installation, identified key issue being exhaust pipe pressure. Identified a) run too long for standard sized PVC pipe - should expand to 3" in order to ease the load on the system, and b) my capping the exhaust pipe with vented cover (to deter rodent visitations) was the root cause - did not allow adequate free-flow of exhaust so we removed it. Tech also modified the direction of the air intake pipe to further improve performance.

We'd gotten good reviews from other people. They provided a reasonable quote. We scheduled the work and they were able to finish the job within the expected time frame.

I needed to replace an old furnace in our home in October 2013. In the market for a new furnace, I went to Home Depot, gave my name, address, and phone number. As a result, a representative of Comfy Heating and Air Conditioning called me, and we scheduled an appointment for their representative to come to our house to give us a price quote for a new furnace. A few days later a new furnace was installed in our home. I am a satisfied customer. The people I dealt with at Comfy Heating and Air Conditioning were professional. They were punctual (except for one person who came an hour later than he said). They did everything they promised; including sending someone to check the completed furnace installation, to make sure the installation was done well. Comfy also prepared the paperwork for the permit, and they registered our furnace (for warranty purposes) with the furnace manufacturer.

On the whole it went very well. The gentleman who did the preliminary estimate and helped us determine what furnace and duct system was best for our home did a fantastic job. The crew arrived on time on the appointed day. They were highly efficient, completing the entire installation in two days. When I pointed out small fixes that needed to be made after Day 1 (a crooked cut in a floor vent, some extra caulking, and aluminum tape needed to close gaps between the duct edges and vent holes) the foreman assured that they were done quickly and properly. They did a first-class job on the duct work, including wrapping the ducts with insulation (our contractor, who inspected the work afterward, noted the high quality of the job). The only less satisfactory part of the experience (this is the reason for the B in professionalism) was two visits from the company's owner, who came on a later scheduled third and fourth day to match and install a bathroom tile that had broken during the initial vent installation. Apart from being less courteous than the people who work for him, he also left our bathroom door, which he had to trim to be able to move around the vent, looking pretty beat up and scratched in places. He probably would have come back to fix it, but we didn't ask. He'd already been to the house twice and seemed rather annoyed to be there, and we were tired of having workers in our house for the time being, so we let it go. It was the only down side of an otherwise good service experience. The furnace works extremely well and we're very satisfied with it.
